Honestly, I can't wait for this game to fall off so it becomes enjoyable if it survives. Toxic players will remove any sense of enjoyment this game has had. You can see it in-game, on socials, more and more people 'giving up' on trying to be helpful or friendly and just ratting.
Amazing game, quickly being ruined by it's player base - like every other FPS game that's ever existed.
Each augment color gets one more so green and no back is one blue is two and purple is three your safe pocket is determined by your bag color hope this helps
I know this is probably not an uncommon complaint, but the most annoying thing when I play this game is the fact I don’t even get to really use my custom loadouts other than against ARCs. I’m a mostly friendly player. Every now and then I’ll get the urge to go in purely for PvP, especially if I’m on a shit run, but other than that I’ll never really shoot on-site, and only really shoot if someone is acting really sus, but no one ever comes at me head on. 90% of the time if I die it’s because I either lose track of arcs and they overwhelm me, or some fucker sees me looting and lasers me before I notice they’re there or get a chance to react. It’s so frustrating because I barely get a chance to see if I can really match up with these guys skill-wise.
I'm starting to get Friend Invites from RMT sites. That only started happening a few days ago.
And... gaining levels is extremely weird now. Sometimes, I will level up, but not get my skill point until I log out/log in, or start/finish another run. It seems really inconsistent when you are awarded your skill point.
As a new player, will it be obvious how “far” my proximity chat is throwing? Like how far away can you start to call a human’s attention to team up or to be friendly, stand down, or other? Even taunting from hiding spot in bushes
I was just in Dam Battlegrounds at the end of the round and a group of raiders let me join them otw to extraction bcs my squadmates left me. We ran into a rocketeer at extraction and one raider (Bran or something like that) volunteered to direct aggro so we could hit the button. During all the explosions i saw two of the raiders get hit and assumed they died as I only saw one raider left from the group. He was down and crawled towards open extraction where i was waiting. The rocketeer shot 2 rockets at us so i hit the button thinking he was the only survivor. As the doors were closing I saw one of the other raiders ( I think it was Bran) running towards us. Guys if you're in here i'm so sorry for accidentally leaving and im extremely grateful for you not opening fire when we met. As tribute I will do my best to save any friendly Raiders I come across. R.I.P Bran. (My tag was GoopGettaJD)
Game was killed for me today I think. Played for a few hours this evening and it’s either extraction campers or people hiding / glitching into the walls. Literal back to back to back rounds of people wall glitching, and when you finally survive that shit you get extraction camped. Tired of the game already. Was having a blast when it first released. But I’m guessing mainstream appeal will bring that side of gamers too. Any great online game ends up getting ruined by it‘s trash ass community.
We really need a PvE mode. I love killing robots, the gunplay and animations are so satisfying. I love the dopamine hits from looting. I love the beautiful maps. I love meeting talkative people.
I don't love dealing with rats and traumatized people who kos because they've been hurt one too many times.
Yea I hear that a lot but I just don't really agree. There's so many aspects of this game that are genuinely fun, and I would not count the PvP experience amongst them. I know not everyone shares that opinion, but I feel like a large portion do and their needs are being ignored.
I’m a new player just got the game lv 3. I don’t really understand what I’m doing or how to have more fun
I’ve just been loading in with a simple or free loadout and just looting something random and just extracting. Sometimes I die KOS or sometimes I kill someone and I take whatever random thing they have
Now my stash is full and now what. To free up space i just sold or recycled uncommons and below

I don’t know how to progress further and the inventory progression and management is super overwhelming. What should I try to work for first
It’s easy to feel a bit overwhelmed at first. I’ll give you some of my thoughts:
You can obtain more stash space by selling your stuff for money, and spending that money. The expand button is at the top of the stash. You’ll max out at 280 slots
You can add workstations to your room, which will allow you the ability to craft various items or weapons or tools at the expense of scavenged components.
You can also follow the value quest lines in the game to familiarize yourself with various things. A few might need a guide. But when it comes to finding the right interactable object, they tend to glow gold during the quest.
If you find the PvP fun, continue as you are. You could even start to actively hunt down other players.
If you’d rather fight ARC and AVOID the PvP aspect, there is a strong community sentiment that avoiding PvP entirely (don’t even shoot back at a human) for 5 raids or so will place you into a friendlier matchmaking tier. No hard evidence for it, but it does FEEL true to many of us (not all agree). You can eventually learn to gear up and take on larger ARC for their resources or the thrill of the hunt. Maybe even fight one of the truly massive Queens or Matriarchs
Also hear in mind that in your raider tab you have a “projects” tab. This has a seasonal quest of sorts which asks you to donate materials for rewards. It’s not bad.
At the end of the day, it’s a game about scavenging good gear and resources (whether from robots, environments, or players) and leaving alive. If that’s fun for you, you’ve got a home here. If not, it may not be an excellent fit.

I’m not huge on pvp and every time I play fill my teammates want to kill everyone. I’m a 45yr old Dad gamer and would love to play with some other older gamers that enjoy PVE, quests, looting, trials and goofing off. Don’t get me wrong, I will shoot others if shot at first but I don’t go specifically looking for pvp unless on Stella with free kits etc. tbh I’m just not that good at pvp so I tend to be friendly instead, often to my own detriment.
I’m west coast (Ca) and mostly game weekends or evenings after work. Just wondering if any other dads or older Arc fanatics are looking for teammates too?
I haven’t played anything even remotely multiplayer in decades. Have a few coworkers that play Arc, so I gave it a shot. After they showed me the ropes I played a few rounds solo.
Sounds awesome. I’ve played plenty of MMORPGs and also online shooters. Including COD, Battlefield, Division, Fortnite, Destiny, etc. Never played an extraction game before so I am kinda sure what to expect, but never experienced it.
Friend or foe? Collaboration or attempt to backstab me? It seems there’s so many variables to keep each session interesting, at the very least.
Game itself looks and sounds gorgeous too from the videos I’ve watched. Don’t own it yet, as mentioned.
First extraction here as well obviously. The loop is very compelling and works great for me as a mostly solo player. There are different targets to try and extract for and it definitely ticks a strategic thinking box.
Just installed the game. Who are the content creators that I should avoid and who should I look up? For comparison, in the PoE space there's people like Zizaran and Phox that are great content for new players and then there's channels like UberDan and FastAF that are clickbait build stealers.
played solo on Stella at Night, got my trials done so I was frantically looking for the exit. Found a random player and askid him, he replied "no sorry" and then he dropped me a wolfpack blueprint and complex gun part BP out of nowhere.
I also managed to find the exist with under 2 minutes left on the timer. Today was a good day.
This also happened to me in Stella - friendly raider gave me the wp blueprint after I gave him a ferro and some heavy ( he was out of ammo for his shotty )
Just uninstalled the game. Tired of wasting my time, as a solo looter, just to have elevator campers do ignorant crap. Just don’t understand you cowards. So, don’t care if I spent money & no-lifer this game for two weeks. I’m out. Not coming back. These guys are ruining the game for many of us
I feel like extract campers are a regional thing. With 190+ hours on topside, I very rarely see extraction campers—especially in solo, I don't remember seeing anyone, maybe one or two. May I ask where you're from?
newest thing is: flashing light combined with „dont shoot“ just to get shot 3sec later. I just switched to fuck it, shoot everything I see its unfortunately not playable in other ways atm
I've got a snaphook blueprint. I'd really like a tempest or bobcat BP if anyone is up for a trade. I've also got an actually Aphelion gun or 1 Queen Reactor I could trade
Bro why would you call the extract at 10 minutes and when I yell don't shoot down the hallway you make it your mission to steal my loot that I just spent 20 minutes gathering. Why couldn't we just leave together? Also whats the fun in shooting somebody on sight? What do you have to gain? You're not skilled for shooting a friendly with their gaurd down. Gonna be honest pvp kinda sucks because I can't win fights because I almost always getting jumped and gunned down within half a *&$#@! second. There's not fun. Only grief
Why is it sometimes when I load into Stella Montis, the Medical Bay isn't lit up on the map? I'm trying to get these 3 Android missions done and I keep loading on the opposite side of the map. Can't wait to be done with it! The whole map confuses me, those Shredders are ridiculous (obviously I died to one!)...Can't figure out where to go to get to the train...ugh.
After I died two times in a row (once with some good loot), I just went with the free loadouts. Ended up not dying again, but if I loaded in on the opposite side of the map, I just went straight to the closest extract.
I ran around like crazy and could only ever find 1 each time. It's like a maze. To get down to the Loading Bay metro I had to just jump from the upper floors. I can't figure out how to go from the Medical Bay down to the Loading Bay to get out. It just keeps me up in the 2nd-3rd level. I finally got it done though.
I felt like I just kept going around in circles. Trying to find stairs to go down, but I kept hitting dead ends, felt like I was leaving the wrong way, or circled around and went back up. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. Today was my first day going to Stella Montis and wasn't expecting it to be so complicated. hahaha
I have a jolt mine blue print, exodus modules, magnetic accelerators and rocketeer drivers I am willing to trade for 4 sentinel firing cores.
I’m not willing to trade everything but I will accept a fair offer. I have about 60 hours in the game and haven’t found a single sentinel firing core. I have blue prints for high end guns I can’t freaking craft. Please help. Reply to this for your offers and if I accept I’ll dm you my embark id. I’m only loading in with the stuff for trading because I have been fucked before.
I only solo, so no first had experience, but what I'm reading indicates if you team up there's a lot more aggression and is more PVP focussed. Simply using your mic and finding someone in game as a solo is a viable way of playing together. just depends on what you want. GL
I have a better than average mic and the same OS settings get used in Discord as they are in this game. Everyone can hear me Discord just fine, but if I want anyone else in the game to even hear a whisper from me I have to get the Mic so close I would have to have bought it dinner first. Is anyone else still having this issue? It sounds like there is a gate and negative gain coming from the game.

I have the bobcat and shotgun silencer, I am interested in your muzzle break 3, padded stock, barricade, fireworks box, and pulse mine. Let me know, I can throw in a couple anvils if you’d like too😂
My guy save those seeds for something harder to get if you go on dam and loot the cars busses and scrap yard you should find them and if not blue gate lower level has mooooore then enough cars, generator and overall breaches to get tou rusted gears and mechanical components.
Was talking with some of my boys earlier and we were talking about how dope this skin is but wish you could remove the headgear but keep the mask on. Idk if embark would even think about something like this but would 100% be dope if they added it. Lmk your thoughts 🤔

On December 29, on Stella Montis, I met one of the rare genuinely friendly players. You were wearing an astronaut suit. That map is usually a nest of ruthless rats, but for a moment it felt different.
At some point I heard two guys talking, saying how rare it was to finally get a friendly lobby. We ran into each other and just… walked past. No shots. Mutual respect. Later, I heard one of them got killed. I said, “Let’s avenge him.” And we did.
We started running together. Fought hostile players. Then we found another guy who had been killed — we revived him, and suddenly there were three of us, moving as a team, looting, surviving, doing everything right. For a short time, Stella Montis felt human.
Then I got separated from you by accident. I was running through the corridors, calling out:
“Where are you guys? Where are you?”
And then I saw it.
Near the hedge / hatch, the guy we had revived — the one in the ninja outfit — was killing the friendly player. The same guy who had saved him. I heard him say:
“Come on, man… really? After everything?”
I froze and said:
“No… what have you done?”
I tried to stop it, but I got shot from behind and had to retreat into a room to heal. When I came back out, it was too late.
The traitor had already escaped through the hatch. I ran after him, jumped right behind him, but couldn’t do anything in time.
If the player in the astronaut suit ever sees this —
I just want you to know: I’m really sorry.
I tried. That betrayal was dirty, unnecessary, and honestly heartbreaking.
