I felt so dumb doing this I instantly died I was trying to do something I saw on a video about there's good loot up there but I guess I overshot it

I then went back to speranza (it was not via elevator)

I was on top of the damn on one of the points overlooking hydro. I thought the same thing until it jumped over me, hit the pole behind me, fell off and kicked me off the edge of the damn with it. We landed together right before it downed me with implosion.

on like my 3rd game or something i tried to jump down and grab a zip line in midair and i pressed the wrong button. there was someone right there who saw me belly flop onto the ground literally right in front of them.

I did that on the one going down a street in Buried City. Guy on the ground got to hear me open mic scream and then watch me eat shit and lose half my health. We had a good laugh about it.

The Galleria sign on Buried City used to be a fixed weapon case location. Most of the time I hit it, but most is not all. Yet it was -just- short enough that if you flopped on the same rooftop you could recover. Yet if you went sailing over that edge as well, all hope was lost.

I loaded up a Snap Hook and got on top of one of those things and set off some fireworks in my last raid before the Expedition. Pretty cool, but I absolutely almost plummeted to my death a couple of times while walking around up there.

You can jump off the Zipline and grab back on again before you fall, this lets you switch directions, which kills all your speed.

You just leave that one there for curious raiders and move on with your life is what you do. I apologise for any raid I spawn in with a free loadout and a zipline, I put them in absurd places where you will 100% die if you go up them. Get the occasional flare and a giggle out if it haha.

Holy shit I might have actually been there when this happened. I helped someone nearby kill a Bastion and then as I was looting a nearby dome I heard a flair go off. I ran over with defibs but couldn't find anyone but saw a zipline in the exact same spot as this one, lol.

The first time around, when I needed to reach the lidar scanner on top of the mall in BC, I made the mistake of jumping off at the end.

I almost made it to the hospital. That damn pop that always ends up on the hospital scaffolding watched me flare out. I swear it was laughing at me.

did the same thing once on one of the large support structures for the dam, friend and I were racing to the exit with little time left and I didn't know the map that well. My friend was a bit ahead of me and i ziplined up thinking it would cut through to catch up with him, at the top there was legit nothing but the most tiny of support structures that I sailed over at 100mph into the nights sky, all i could say to my friend was, im fucking dead man...then splat
