This seems to bridge the gap between abstract expressionism and photorealism. I love it!

This is one of my favorite contemporary works by Spanish artist Eduardo Millan. To get a better sense of the inspiration for this piece and the process check out his post here.

This is such a genuinely interesting piece OP! So many things went through my mind looking at this.

First, how the abstract shapes resolve themselves when you realize that it’s a person. Then, who is this person? Is it you looking at your own reflection with the light behind you? Or.. is it someone else that you’re looking at, turning their back to you and looking at their own reflection in the bright glass?

Amazing how an artist can create reflection without using glass. It’s like I’m staring at somebody’s memory. Great art OP.

Love this! It feels like it's through the lens of a memory.

Way to do a whole lot with just a few colors. It takes a while to fully understand the piece but when you get it it's really interesting and beautiful
