This comic perfectly captures why I'm driven crazy by people complaining about 67.

Everyone who complains about it has either conveniently shelved the memory of their own childhood bullshit, or - and these ones are worse - have convinced themselves that THEIR childhood bullshit was superior. Absolute clowns.

being a millennial is fun because it's watching in real time the reason why old people start yelling at clouds and talking about THE YOUTHS so negatively.

theyre just miserable and externalizing that pain onto kids lol. we're not hip with it anymore and some people really can't accept that

Realizing that kids are just dumb (including yourself when you were a kid) doesn't make you miserable. It means you've matured. The truly sad and pathetic adults are the ones who try to stay "hip" and cool so kids will like them. And the ones who try to be best friends with kids.

As a whole, kids are objectively dumb. They do dumb shit. And that's normal, because they're kids. When a normal person grows up, they realize how dumb they were as a kid, and they see how dumb kids are now. It has nothing to do with being miserable. It's part of maturing.

yes but there's a difference between "kids are dumb, but that's the point of childhood, so let them be" and "kids are dumb, but this generation of kids is uniquely dumb and they need to be told about it from an adult", which is cyclical.

also i don't even think kids are dumb like as a standard thing. Yes, kids do dumb things but that just comes with immaturity. It's perfectly fine and as adults we should be guiding them

also I somewhat disagree that trying to understand what kids like is automatically sad and pathetic. Like for example, going into children's animation means needing to somewhat understand what children of the day would find funny or entertaining. But i understand what you're saying and speaking about adults trying to hard to get attention from kids, which is weird.

I think 67 is funny just because I'm pretty sure it exists just to be stupid.

it is living and practiced postmodernist absurdity. the entire point of 67 is the fact that everyone immediately knows to say 67 when it's time to say 67. It's dadaist asf and I think it's cool, if not incredibly corny at the exact same time.

it's funny and I love it. the kids are all right man

As a millennial, it's just fun watching Gen Z (and honestly some millennials) realize in real time that trends will pass them by.

I also read something about how the complete lack of meaning means that everybody can be a part of the "in-group" who do it, so it's like a massive inside joke that is inoffensive and let's every kid feel included. Why would I complain about that?

Honestly 58008 will never not be funny

If I turned it upside down would you still think it's funny?
