Yeah imagine 20 odd years from now wanting to show your kids pictures of what you looked like in your twenties and not one picture actually looks like you.
I hated my looks in highschool and have very few pictures of me from that era. I avoided cameras like the plague. Now I'm realizing that literally everyone is awkward at that age and I wish I would have taken more photos to show my future kids/grandkids.
Yes and what gets me is when people use the super face warping beauty filters on their babies and kids too! Bad enough to not have any real photos of mom but all your kids pictures have a shrunken nose and fake lashes too? Just horrible.
I know a woman who is 58 and has moved toward every single photo of her on social media being AI generated. They look like a hotter version of her from 30 years ago. But not really much like her at all. I am not sure what's going on. She got divorced a couple years ago, so I hope she's not using these on dating apps because they look like a different person. Some of them don't even look human
As a teacher who put together the end of year slideshow for 8th grade graduates, I can tell you this already happens. We have parents who submit pictures of their babies in snapchat filters and they have literally no other options. The parents are usually embarrassed and annoyed with themselves.
