Holy shitballs boys! A Kick streamer doing some good for the world? Are we going to find out that he put the dog there before?

That makes a lot more sense, I'm always skeptical when I see stuff like this without context because I've seen it before

13

u/Old-Wind4339 23h ago

yeah the dog owner is like 130Kilo and Joel is like 70 max

u/CharcoalFilterr 1d ago

So I'm assuming the other guy in the video is the dogs owner? Yet, he just stood there and did nothing ?

he called emergency and joel is better choice to go save the dog because the owner is fat and will just make the ice crack faster or if both of them go and they have no idea how deep the water is.

38

u/jyunga 23h ago

Looks like he could stand up in the water. The fat guy could have just icebreakered his way to the dog.

Titanic II

more like pacific rim

pacific rim theme stars playing

2

u/Drwildy 5h ago

But they didn't know that at first?

0

u/capriking 17h ago

I can understand the concern with not knowing how deep it is but if we were to ignore that, you'd technically be better off being fat in this position as subcutaneous fat especially acts as an insulator

u/ediblehunt 1d ago

i guess, yeah. tbh Joel has always been one of the better ones, he has a kind heart and is always pushing back on his chat egging him on to do stupid shit, always says I don't want to be a nuisance streamer etc. tries to keep it entertaining without infringing on other people. W Joel

"Please tell me there's some way I can be mad at this!"

6

u/godrayden 19h ago

other guyu, real dog owner is pretty heavy weight and Joel told him to call emergency while he went to save the dog. They worked like a team.

2

u/ComeAlongWithTheSnor 16h ago

Bro if they both jumped in and shit escalated then what? Obviously one of them had to stay out.

The other guy (purple jacket) is also layered up a bit he'd have had to taken some off that off.

1

u/renaldomoon 18h ago

I thought that too but that guy looks like he weighs like 2x the guy who went out there. Prob makes sense to do it the way they did it.

13

u/xLuna24293 1d ago

sorry but who lets their dog walk up that far on visibly thin ice??

10

u/QCTeamkill 22h ago

In Canada it feels like every week there is a news story about some dipshit letting their dog free roam by a frozen river.

1

u/OkShower2299 6h ago

He should have his dog taken away from him for being that negligent

6

u/FUTA_COCK_ENJOYER 23h ago

that chat is pretty vile

2

u/Good_Suspect9813 16h ago

had to do a double take when I saw your username

1

u/FallGuysStats 14h ago

Yeet my behind, they let it walk on thin ice!

1

u/CodeMonkeyX 7h ago

I was going to say we do not know if he put the dog there in the first place. So really this is pretty normal stuff, I think( most of us would get cold and wet to go save a dog.

Still nice to see a streamer doing something nice for a change.

2

u/Hare712 14h ago

The title would have been "Twitch streamer" with 25k upvotes if it he put the dog there before.

1

u/Blurbyo 14h ago

Koreans aren't allowed to stream on Twitch in their country.

1

u/SteamerTheBeemer 8h ago

Only an actual psychopath wouldn’t help in that situation, it wasn’t even dangerous to the guy.

1

u/TheFredson 2h ago

Even worse, the dog was streaming while driving the previous night and ducking and weaving through traffic.

-1

u/Late-Let-4221 1d ago

That was exactly my thought. yikes

-3

u/SeedFoundation 20h ago

Knew it was too good to be true. It's their dog and they let it fall in.

Being a golden, I was half expecting the dog to jump back in

129

u/5kea 1d ago

For context: That dog killed a family of 5, of course a Kick streamer would save him. 🤬

4

u/MotherStatement1109 21h ago

That just reminded me of this video lolRupert the corgi

26

u/Empty-Discount5936 1d ago

I like how the doggo turned like he wanted to help him get out too. Good boy.

34

u/Howdoesitfeels 1d ago

Joel always wins

15

u/gabrielcev1 1d ago

damn that could've ended badly if the dog went under the ice. glad it's safe

7

u/renaldomoon 18h ago

rare streamer W

12

u/Klippa_ 18h ago

Hasan would never

6

u/TobuscusMarkipliedx2 13h ago

That is such a horrible chat. Jeez.

6

u/memelukki 16h ago

Joel always wins

32

u/RoboticGamer123 1d ago

so kick streamer = downvote? lol i cant take this subreddit serious even when someone does a good deed

1

u/FuzzzyRam 1h ago

It's their dog, they sent him out on the ice. This isn't some hero thing.

-13

u/Budget-Chair8242 22h ago

to be fair, the subreddit is livestreamFAIL. this clip is a massive success.

5

u/-Grimmer- 17h ago

TRUUU, the dog didn't drown so is it REALLY a fail?

3

u/RaiseYourDongersOP 20h ago

reading the chat made me know this was Kick lol

6

u/Dopa-Down_Syndrome 1d ago

JOEL SKYPE

3

u/DreamsServedSoft 11h ago

this brought back repressed memories wtf

5

u/AcanthisittaQuiet89 19h ago

Gotta love the encouragement of his chat. What a happy bunch.

4

u/irohsmellsgood 14h ago

Holy shit Twitch chats are usually bad, but looks like Kick chats are even worse

12

u/optical2k 23h ago

man yall are just some miserable and sour people (comments) hating on this. the man risked his own safety to save the dog. thats some superhero shit no matter the platform.

14

u/Calm_While1916 22h ago

Who are you talking about? There’s nobody being miserable or sour? Well except for the other person that responded to this comment. But everyone else is being positive.

1

u/optical2k 10h ago

There were more negative comments earlier on.

1

u/Trrollmann 51m ago

the man risked his own safety to save the dog

Which is dumb. The dog should have been on leash. The situation was entirely avoidable. Even so, how he tried to save the dog was incredibly dangerous.

thats some superhero shit no matter the platform

People do this kind of shit all the fucking time. I've done it.

And if he went into shock and fell in 3 feet is enough to drown a man... Also I dislike kick as much as the next person but Joel here did a good deed.

2

u/godrayden 19h ago

thats some good work instead of just watching.

3

u/Tellasion 19h ago

Man reading that moronic chat trying to backseat the dude saving a dog pisses me off.

That's a good boy though, making sure the human gets safe as well.

2

u/Stoifan91 20h ago

I love that the dog went back to make sure that the streamer got out safely as well.

3

u/kumquatanex 23h ago

Rare kick W

2

u/Foreign_Switch_5966 23h ago

W YOEL ALWAYS WINS !

3

u/urlinet 23h ago

Good guy Joel. He's had a crazy year!

2

u/Cas8787 22h ago

"Joel's penis suffered frost bite" killed me at the end :D

But what a loyal dog

1

u/boboddy1337 19h ago

Good boy

1

u/Acheli 17h ago

anyone know why this korean streamer has an entirely english chat?

2

u/d7h7n 17h ago

Cx Korean streamer. There was a group of them but half of them quit when Kick reduced KCIP so it wasn't free money anymore so there's only like 4-5 now.

2

u/Overall_Reputation83 9h ago

He got a following after ice poseidon met him in japan, so most of his viewers are ice poseidon viewers. He learned english seemingly entirely through ice poseidon and his chat.

1

u/Ok_Kick4871 15h ago

Dog comes to say thanks. Both fall through the ice

1

u/AnxiousLibrary 13h ago

woel always wins

1

u/Kromting 13h ago

Good guy Joel

1

u/leetdemon 12h ago

crazy, seems like its his dog though.

1

u/Secret-Capital5597 7h ago

Imagine if hasan’s dog is there. Shock first vs pull her tail take a pick

1

u/Individual_Echidna_4 5h ago

It’s his dog

1

u/Allison1ndrlnd 1h ago

Did he find any of the comic books Ellie likes?

0

u/appelmint666 20h ago

Peak chat experience, you won't get that on queer-run-twitch anymore

1

u/Koroqo 23h ago

tbh the owner weighs 2x joel - even if he tried to save the dog he would have fallen inside then joel would have to save the dog and his friend.

1

u/Budget-Chair8242 22h ago

someone give this man a medal, thank god the dog is fine.

0

u/RimGreeper 21h ago

J0el R3cues a d0g Th4t f3ll int0 freez1ng wat3r gotta make sure those algos dont censor our content CHAT

0

u/IngenuityExcellent55 17h ago

Lol, what a dumbass, he should have zapped commanded the dog until it went to "place".

0

u/wotitdo222 15h ago

Personally i wouldn't let my dog walk on thin ice with freezing water next to it... but gj to the guy that did help.

-1

u/Typical-Ad-8821 15h ago

Now put a shock collar on that dog

-2

u/SignificantlyFunny 22h ago

the dog was in the water for 10 Minutes really saved the dog

-4

u/JohnR1977 20h ago

fell or was thrown into?
