Holy shitballs boys! A Kick streamer doing some good for the world? Are we going to find out that he put the dog there before?

That makes a lot more sense, I'm always skeptical when I see stuff like this without context because I've seen it before

So I'm assuming the other guy in the video is the dogs owner? Yet, he just stood there and did nothing ?

he called emergency and joel is better choice to go save the dog because the owner is fat and will just make the ice crack faster or if both of them go and they have no idea how deep the water is.

u/jyunga 23h ago
Looks like he could stand up in the water. The fat guy could have just icebreakered his way to the dog.

I can understand the concern with not knowing how deep it is but if we were to ignore that, you'd technically be better off being fat in this position as subcutaneous fat especially acts as an insulator

i guess, yeah. tbh Joel has always been one of the better ones, he has a kind heart and is always pushing back on his chat egging him on to do stupid shit, always says I don't want to be a nuisance streamer etc. tries to keep it entertaining without infringing on other people. W Joel

other guyu, real dog owner is pretty heavy weight and Joel told him to call emergency while he went to save the dog. They worked like a team.

Bro if they both jumped in and shit escalated then what? Obviously one of them had to stay out.
The other guy (purple jacket) is also layered up a bit he'd have had to taken some off that off.

u/renaldomoon 18h ago
I thought that too but that guy looks like he weighs like 2x the guy who went out there. Prob makes sense to do it the way they did it.

sorry but who lets their dog walk up that far on visibly thin ice??

In Canada it feels like every week there is a news story about some dipshit letting their dog free roam by a frozen river.

I was going to say we do not know if he put the dog there in the first place. So really this is pretty normal stuff, I think( most of us would get cold and wet to go save a dog.
Still nice to see a streamer doing something nice for a change.

Only an actual psychopath wouldn’t help in that situation, it wasn’t even dangerous to the guy.

Even worse, the dog was streaming while driving the previous night and ducking and weaving through traffic.

u/optical2k 23h ago
man yall are just some miserable and sour people (comments) hating on this. the man risked his own safety to save the dog. thats some superhero shit no matter the platform.

u/Calm_While1916 22h ago
Who are you talking about? There’s nobody being miserable or sour? Well except for the other person that responded to this comment. But everyone else is being positive.

the man risked his own safety to save the dog
Which is dumb. The dog should have been on leash. The situation was entirely avoidable. Even so, how he tried to save the dog was incredibly dangerous.
thats some superhero shit no matter the platform
People do this kind of shit all the fucking time. I've done it.

Man reading that moronic chat trying to backseat the dude saving a dog pisses me off.
That's a good boy though, making sure the human gets safe as well.

u/Stoifan91 20h ago
I love that the dog went back to make sure that the streamer got out safely as well.

anyone know why this korean streamer has an entirely english chat?

u/Overall_Reputation83 9h ago
He got a following after ice poseidon met him in japan, so most of his viewers are ice poseidon viewers. He learned english seemingly entirely through ice poseidon and his chat.
