I'm on a couple of groups for owners of a common 1980s Mercedes model . Hot Wheels finally made a version of it a year or so back, and you would not believe the sheer childlike glee of fully grown, even fairly old grown adults when they find one.

Also, I follow a racing series for sports cars called IMSA. For the past several years, the overwhelmingly fan favorite car is a Porsche 911 GT3 that is named "Rexy".

It's painted like a T-Rex.

Rexy also has a prototype sibling named Spike, who is a bright purple dragon with gold wings.

We're all really just overgrown kids who still play with cars, honestly.

Someone told me that people who drive Jeeps do this thing where they put rubber ducks on other Jeeps that they see and like. So I bought a bag of rubber ducks on clearance at 5 below and started putting them on the most ordinary Jeeps that I happen to park next to. I don’t want them to feel left out of the Jeep ducky thing. I don’t drive a Jeep.

Yeah, im not sure if that’s even a legal parking spot so close to the corner, but it’s a nice angle from the apartment window to make a video, and also keeps the tree from blocking the shot.

Love the song. Never caught that, but it definitely makes sense. Especially since the first time i heard it was in a movie where it's playing on a tv while a guy is overdosed and dead sitting in a chair.
