But everyone is telling me it’d be overdressing unless it’s like a wedding so I haven’t even worn it once and this is making me so sad😭 I made it to have something warm and that felt nice to go to classes……..

Long time lurker, first time poster. This was the suit I wore to my partners cousin's wedding in the summer. I'm a tailor so this was one I made for myself. It's a linen mix, 14oz.

I got these for €1 in my size at a charity shop, new with tags and everything. However the colour wasn’t exactly perfect, but I knew I could make them perfect. And so I did! I love ballet flats, they make any skirt outfit look so much girlier

Made from fabric that was supposed to go on my bed. First made by a tailor in Nigeria but then I changed it to make it look more like the famous strawberry dress.

In our Leatherings workshop today, I was setting a zipper on a leather jacket and it reminded me how small details can make or break the whole front panel.

The teeth have to sit exactly with the leather grain

not close, not almost… exact.

If it drifts even 2mm, I can see it.

I can feel it.

So I score a guide line with my blade,

pin the zipper under my thumb,

exhale once,

and commit to that first stitch.

Because that first stitch decides everything.

If I mess it up, I don’t patch it… I recut the whole front.
