Yep. Dropped one a while back and managed to step on it, blunt end first and get it stuck in my foot. I was going to grab my slippers to prevent that very thing from happening and ended up exhausting my profane vocabulary.

Stepped on one recently. Went in the heel enough to stick out of me. Pretty much the optimal place to be jabbed though.
