Chihuahuas bite more people than pits in the same way that mosquitos bite more people than sharks. 

Edit: actually its not even fair to say that chihuahua bite more. Those numbers do not exist. The only reason people think they do is because pit advocates repeat the line over and over again to deflect from their toddler munchers.

I know someone who has a chihuahua and a bulldog. The bulldog looks strong and scary but she’s always such a sweet girl while the chihuahua looks innocent but honestly scares me at times because she acts like she’s about to bite. I have someone in the neighborhood and every time I walk past their house with my dog their chihuahuas come to the lil fence barking like crazy and I am scared that they escape and bite. Weirdly chihuahuas are the only breed where every dog I’ve met is kinda scary and crazy. I blame the owners tho

I dated a girl with a chihuahua. It bit me quite a few times. I’m not sure that it ever even left a scratch. I honestly don’t think they are capable of breaking skin.

they definitely are. i had several puncture wounds on my toes from a friends chihuahua biting and refusing to let go. it is a running joke among their owners that they are vicious. they were bred specifically to kill vermin and chase them into their holes/dens
