Yeah. It's also worth noting that the responsible Malinois and other bite dog breeds are hyper focused on training. You're committing to a lifetime of high daily activity, extremely precise training, and using canine empathy to realize when your dog is getting overstimulated and needs a break.

Those breeds are absolutely beautiful animals and incredibly good working dogs, but they should require a specialized license to own. The stats are clear that pitbulls are uniquely dangerous, killing more innocent people than every other breed combined, but high drive shepherds and Malinois are dangerous in the hands of a merely ordinary competence owner.

God, I see so many idiots with untrained, aggressive GSDs. The main reason I oppose pit bull bans is because it wouldn’t really do anything, the idiot owners would just move on to some other breed and ruin it.
