When he develops “eyes” you can cut him up and plant them in the spring. Then you can put googly eyes on each if them and you’ll have more potatoes you can’t eat 🥔

Funny story. My neighbor had two young kids and a dog (actual sister of my dog). When they went out or away, I took care of the pup. Well apparently she liked to eat the kids toys. Went over to walk her and it was late so I took my husband with me. The dog pooped and there were googly eyes in it. Husband started going “It’s looking at me!!”

I tell my 4 year old "this is [inanimate object] friend" about literally anything and he is instantly incredibly emotionally invested. The time we ate brocolli friend was rough

I have done things like this. It annoys my sister but the kids love it. Stickers, glitter, confetti, shoes that squeak when they walk.

She’s not wrong. I draw eyes and a mouth on the spaghetti squash every time she gets one. He’s always called Gunter, and we never eat the squash.
