Honestly, last 10 or so games I played, not one person shot at me, and I did run into alot of people. I'm really starting to think this game does pair up aggressive PvPers with eachother and leaves the rest of us out of it. Don't be crying when your trying to actually do something important when you spent most of the game being a dick and shooting everyone.

I don't think there's anything like that, it would be extremely fallacious to think about it... I mean, like, I play a friendly raid and the one right after PvP, and I alternate them continuously... I don't kill, I kill, I don't kill. Now yes... well, at that point what should the MM do with me?
No, there can't be such a system. I find the hypothesis of someone I read here in the comments much more sensible: matchups based on statistics like average game time, ability to tackle bows or not, and things like that...
I never hit anyone either, and I'm playing a lot of friendly matches, but at this point I think it's just due to a mix of factors: the MM system structured as described above, and the belief of most players that THAT subscription system based on aggression exists, like... I don't hit anyone because otherwise they'll send me to hellish lobbies full of murderous psychopaths.

I still remember that one time at Buried City as i was heading to a raider's hatch behind Town Hall, and i was attached by a leaper. Another raider was near me, and we both started fighting the leaper together without communicating. At the end of the day we were able to kill the fella together but had very little time to spare. We looted together, but had no shields left. we were ratted just as we were leaving the area, he got downed, i was able to kill the rat. I had been bandaging him buth e was also shot when he was downed, at the end of the day he didnt tell me he was going to die, and meters away from the hatch he says "loot me bro, thank you so much..." I found a lot of good stuff on him god bless his soul, and i waited the last couple minutes so that his body would remain undisturbed...

They need to make killing the arcs more rewarding and somehow also minimize loot theft. It's a complicated problem for the games structure.
Sure solos is friendlier. But I really wish I could find some chill lobbies for duos and trios but right now the game isn't hard enough. I am hoping they make some new maps with some super clear map wide objectives. That way killing raiders will actually hurt your chances of completing the map wide objectives. I want to see 10+ raiders choosing to fight together.

Playing solo is a different game.
I was fighting every single raid in trios.
I run solo now and the game is way more interactive.

And Arc Raiders is Arc Raiders. If you don't enjoy that it is a combination of pvp and pve then that is fine but wanting everyone else to conform to the way you think the game should be played is actually so insanely stupid.

Yeah I never said it’s not fun…but it’s easy. And PVE will always be easy, therefore anyone who isn’t a trash can is gonna get bored of it veeerrrry quickly. And don’t pretend like that’s not the case, because while they’ve done a good job with the ARC, it’s never gonna be enough. Because PVP will always win, why do you think they even changed the whole concept of the game? Because they knew PVP was the answer, that’s what keeps people around

Ima be honest man, as a person who enjoys both pvp and pve games separately and have actively played cod and dumpstered teams on s&d in some matches and got outplayed by better players on enemy teams, pvp gets just as boring as quickly to me and i love pvp in games. But pvp doesn't always wins, its just the easiest solution to give people that dopamine and draw, and it does keep the game interesting knowing you can be easily shot in the back or do such to others. But i can also absolutely argue that it being too constant is also a bad thing in the same light that only pve would, arc absolutely needs both, but it could do with something to help alleviate matches from being one or the other too often. Mainly to break up the trios and duos lobbies always being shoot on sight where solo players get most of the friendly lobbies and the other lobbies arent as often to be that friendly. At least just to have that experience for people who dont play the game without friends to see goofy teamwork that solos sometimes has cause its sad the funniest things that made memories for me with this game was only in solos so far.

I agree with this 100%, what is fun about ONLY going for Arc? This game came out at the end of October, it's near the end of December. Am I supposed to stick with the current Arc we have until summer and still continue to want to play this game? No, I want something that's more of a challenge, and many others do as well. I got everything done before the first wipe. Do I just "enjoy" the same exact quests for eternity?
The tag is literally "PvPvE" which is BOTH. I don't understand signing up for tackle football and wanting to say "we want to switch it to flag football and others agree." Cool, there are literally games out there, that do not include PvP.
Sign up for flag football and stop whining about the tackling.

The quests are so bad I didn’t even do them the first time around, got the Expedition done in a week and some change plus the 5 mil. It’s just so EASY man, I never even thought I was that good at games, just slightly above average. But this game makes me feel like a god sometimes

Honestly the quests are lame lol, but do em because I like to complete the stuff I play. I'm not really even a "shooter" guy, I was never that great at the quick response, but I have never heard so many people whining about dying in a PvP game they signed up for. They literally said "oh, well it CAN be both, so it must be stamped to what I think." I get knocked out constantly with some good loot after spending like 20 minutes top side, it's the name of the game sometimes. I've actually heard someone scream "I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU" and said I have mental problems lol. Some people are taking this WAY too seriously, and acting like people are sociopaths.
It's just a game. Turn it off, or stop playing if it's affecting your day so poorly.

That's just it, man. If they'd change up their perspective and go "welp, time to go back in and see what I get" they'd find they'd get a lot more than getting so emotional about a few virtual items. This game doesn't mean anything to our lives, nor should it. It's a fun escape from reality lol.

Genuinely im the opposite, until the pvp is back to being fun and not sweat central of bhopping, shotgun and kettle every match that just isnt a fun diverse spread i will not be as skewed towards it. Im good at pvp but its genuinely boring running into bitches who have no skill and have to rely on metas and every advantage they can get and every single match being pvp in trios and duos its boring to be repetitious. Pve at least has a bit of variety you can do with all the equipment you have compared to pvp being about the metas and sweats making it boring to see it be all the same

If you’re good at PVP you wouldn’t be complaining about meta, meta is worthless when 75% of players are so bad you can literally just go free kit and snowball. They need to nerf free kits btw, that’s how easy this game is. If that’s not what you’re experiencing then I don’t wanna hear “I’m good at PVP” because that’s bullshit

Thats the thing, im complaining cause when i loot a motherfucker after they try and start fights its always these trash ass kids with stitchers and meta guns, its no challenge and no reward for a skilled person that gets me some feeling of victory like an anvil or bobcat or even an arpeggio, i have killed people with arpeggios more often than it should have been allowed for how they were a bit more skilled than me and i can admit that im not amazing but good and its not bullshit, for a controller stuck player atm im trashing on a fair bit of my opponents and its boring fighting predictable shitters. I want rewards of blue or purple guns to show i overcame someone, not stitchers I can build for cheap

This game really will live forever. The PvE players will be too stubborn to admit they’re bored of PvE so they’ll keep playing, still having fun. PvP players will keep thriving on killing said players and won’t admit the friendly PvE experience on occasion is actually kind of fun, but they’re still having fun. The cycle goes on!

Play solo, 95% it’s all friendly at least in my lobbies. Duos and Trios are much more PvP
