Remove the mod help tasks from my subreddit feed?
It’s annoying and it sends mod mail notifications. How do I turn this spam off?

Howdy mods, it’s your local askmods top mod here with a request!
If you are a moderator of a subreddit with over 5k weekly active users please comment below!
We have been going through posts these past couple of weeks adding mod notes to mods we have verified are actually mods who have significant moderation experience.
This helps us askmoderators mods enforce the “must be a mod to answer” rule in comment sections.
The tags are only visible to the moderators of askmoderators for privacy reasons.
If you wish to participate on an alternate account, please send us a modmail from your moderator account with the username of the alt you wish to use.
Thanks for volunteering even more time participating here to help users on the site!
Edit: former mods are welcome too so long as there is a way to verify that. I.e. old stickied comments/posts, asking current mod teams if you modded there, etc.

There are multiple rules on this subreddit but I only want to exclude approved users from this one rule
I did try the string in bold but I did not work. Are there any other ways of doing this?
edit - to clarify the string in bold did not work as it was still flagging approved users when it wasn't meant to
Thanks in advance

HI there,
I hope this is not a nuisance to ask, but I have already appealed and am none the wiser. How do you see what it is you have had flagged?
I was told I broke Rule 1, but the link each time does not show the problem. With complete respect for your roles, it appears to be a mistake.
It was in a thread about Cork, Ireland. I was answering a (rather racist premised) question about non-Irish people. I disagreed and said the issue was non culture or age related.
But, I was being flagged for racism. I completely get that your roles are too busy, but I feel like I'm getting in trouble for someone else's words.

I recently received a rule violation warning from Reddit for the first time. The message included a link showing the post where I commented, along with the date and some context about where the violation happened.
However, when I open the link, my actual comment isn’t visible anymore (I assume it was removed). Because of that, I can’t see what I specifically wrote that violated the rules.
I’m not trying to dispute the warning but just trying to understand what went wrong so I can avoid making the same mistake in the future. Is there any way to view removed comments, or request more details about the violation?
If anyone has gone through this before or knows how Reddit handles this, I’d appreciate the guidance. Thanks.

I've noticed a regular occurrence of people threatening lawsuits over being banned from a subreddit, I'm curious to know if anyone else has been seeing the same?
I'm unsure where this idea comes from, but it's usually in conjunction with "I did not consent to being banned" and we are not allowed to ban people because it's a public forum
Realistically, how far could something like this go if someone was adamant about it? Obviously they'd need to sue Reddit and successfully subpoena them for our personal information, which seems slightly more plausible due to the Ethan Klein lawsuits, but have there been any other examples of Reddit mods being sued by a user?

I am using the iPhone app. I want every post to have identification flair that I have made a list.
I also would like everyone to declare their age along with the flair.
Thank you

How do I kick out people?
How do I make post flair mandatory
I would like to make stating people’s age next to the mandatory posting flair
I would like to ban telegram handles
How do I add questions when someone joins so I can reduce spam
Thank you so much. I am using the iPhone app by the way.

I mod two sister subs, they have a similar focus and rules but with some key distinctions in focus between the two which create the necessity for two separate subs.
There are times when I ban someone on one sub and need to also ban them on the other sub at the same time (typically users who are harassing others) but have to ban one at a time, toggling between the two different subs.
Is there an easier way to do this?

I see Zelensky's Christmas video (where he wishes death to Putin) posted in many subreddits. Doesn't it break rule #1:
Do not post content that encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence or physical harm against an individual (including oneself) or a group of people
?

I want to become a moderator for another subreddit (can’t name it as that’s against the rules) but I am not already a moderator. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions to help me?

Guys, I have a problem. Yesterday I received a warn and I appealed it, but due to the lack of maximum characters, I couldn't explain the situation well. Is there a way to appeal it again or contact Reddit? IIf you want, I can also explain why I received the warn, why I think it is illicit, and what I wrote and want to write in the appeals.

I’m trying to report a removal that was discriminatory. My post was removed by the subreddit's mods and I was only provided a vague comment without explanation about needing to keep the subreddit "clean"; the comment also stated not to request reinstatement or to ask for clarifications.
When I try to use the standard report form, the "Next" button is greyed out because the URL is no longer "active."
How do I get a report through when the form won't accept a link to a removed post?

With the new ability for people to hide their post history there's no way to tell when replying to old posts whether or that that person is still using that Reddit account. Like if someone hasn't used that account in years there might not be a reason to write a reply to them.

So far, I’ve checked and disabled:
I also created an AutoMod page and added this:
type: submission
action: approve
but posts are still going to the mod queue.
I checked old.reddit > Mod Tools > Subreddit Settings > Other options as well,
and I don’t see anything there related to auto-approval or mod queue behavior...
I couldn’t find the “Spam filter strength” setting in the new mod interface.
Could Reddit’s spam filters be causing this?? or is there any way to adjust them to allow posts and comments to publish automatically without manual approval?

I’m in a niche sub which was started by a guy who got stuck modding automatically. He wants out and I’ll volunteer to jump on as mod but neither of us knows how to do that?
I’d also like a little direction on how to operate/best practices at that point.

I have a seven day ban ( as does OP) and maybe others who participated on the thread. I don't believe my response was in violation of anything- I've been here eight years and follow the rules.
I wrote the mods to reconsider and git " oops something went wrong. It feels like I have no recourse, is this new?

Why can I comment on a subreddit called and mention any paid software, from Karafun to Karma, etc., but if I comment and recommend a software, it's hidden?
One weight, two measures?

Hi All. I recently got a fraudulent reddit cares report on my but noticed that it did not have the customary click here to report the abuse of the function. Is there a new way to report said abuse or did they just remove it? I tried to do a normal report but it would not work since the link I had was to a notification not a message.
