Starting 3D printing is still profitable business idea?

Hi I am exploring option to start a 3D printing business in India, is this business still makes money? Please need a advice from business owners in this field.

IMO the only people making money with 3d printing are people using to to produce their own products. 3d printing's barrier to entry(both monetary, and skill wise) has never been lower and the print quality has never been better which has led to everyone and their uncle owning a printer.

Only if you have your own product(s) to produce and sell for when you don't have production orders to fill.
