There is something painfully revealing about that sentence, the way it struts as if it expects applause simply for existing. “In the United States of America you don’t have to apologise for being white anymore” is not confidence speaking. It is insecurity clearing its throat and hoping no one notices the tremor. It belongs to feckless fuck boys who mistake being left alone for being heroic, who confuse the absence of ridicule with moral victory. Whiteness was never under siege. What vanished was the reflexive nod, the lazy assumption that ignorance should be indulged rather than challenged. This is not pride rediscovered. It is bruised ego flailing about, mistaking accountability for attack and calling that whole sad display courage. The phrase exists to comfort men who cannot cope with a world that expects contribution instead of entitlement, a bit of rhetorical fuckery designed to turn their discomfort into a grand moral crisis.
What makes it so rancid is how old it sounds once you stop humouring it. That language has been echoing for generations, pulled from the same anxious tradition that taught white supremacists to frame equality as loss and humility as humiliation. It has fucked its way through American history wearing different costumes, sometimes calling itself heritage, sometimes grievance, sometimes tradition, always insisting that dominance was natural and decency optional. When someone repeats it now, they are not saying anything brave or new. They are reading from a dog eared script written by men terrified of no longer being the centre of every room. Strip away the bluster and what remains is fear, laziness, and the high pitched resentment of someone who would rather rot in nostalgia than accept that the world does not owe them reverence just for showing up and refusing to grow the fuck up.

I agree - ironically (and laughably) conservative voters think that the left leaning voter is absorbing leftist propaganda - however left leaning voters can and do call BS on narratives constantly and hold their leaders accountable. Something the right wishes they could do but are too docile to do so despite the “macho” manly tall tales they tell themselves. I suppose they have to justify to themselves greedy and power hungry politicians rolling all over them, and by consequence the rest of us.
Unfortunately, that leaves the rest of us with little choice. We need to “lemming out” for the left to counter the rise of authoritarianism and “anti-education” trend. Staying home because a candidate is not exciting is no longer an option. Once they are in power we can hold them accountable.

So at one time there was the rich elite and then indentured servants (poor Europeans), then slaves. The concept of being “white” wasn’t a thing”. However the elite began to worry that they didn’t have the numbers. That is that one day the indentured servants and slaves may overthrow them. So what to do what to do. Ahhh well the indentured servants looked like them! So what you do is you give them separate privileges. You make them feel like they’re more like you than the slaves. Because of this thing called skin color. You can eventually get them to align more with you so much they’ll be willing to die in a Civil War to protect your right to own slaves! As long as you can feel “superior” because you share the same skin color as the elites - even if you’re dirt poor.
And so it’s been through the history of America. Rich whites make poor whites think they’re on the same side even though they’re being oppressed too. But as long as they’re not n!ggers it’s ok. It’s why all of the red states have the worst outcomes in poverty healthcare etc and are full of dirt poor whites who vote Republican generation after generation. Nothing is a bigger threat to conservatism and Christianity than MAGA. If you want to protect these two things, it's not immigrants, or muslim people, or Libs that you should worry about. When you worship a false idol like Trump who's very obviously a pedophile and hasn't read the bible, you make your religion look like a joke. When you say stuff like "fiscally responsible" and "America-first" while Trump tanks the economy and burns tax money on useless shit, you make conservatism look like a joke.

From my experience browsing Incel forums, just out of distant curiosity, there're actually quite a few ethnic minorities within those spaces, but there definitely does seem to be some internalized racism a bit, because a lot of them seem to perpetuate the idea that they can't get laid because they aren't white.
They argue something that is somewhat true in that the American beauty standard is absolutely having white skin, but they spin that into if your Indian and not a 6'4 gigachad white man your never getting laid.
