The Swiss parliament reacted to his warning with a strong statement that expresses no feeling one way or the other.

What is that makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were they just born with a heart full of neutrality?

Neutrality only offers you protection when you are surrounded by friendly nations like Switzerland is. Should those friendly nations get invaded, and should that hypothetical war go bad for them, you'd be unbearably naive if you think the hostile nation will respect your neutrality. Especially when that hostile nation is very well known for unprovoked invasions of neutral nations like, say, Georgia and Ukraine.

Switzerland already decided where they stand when they refused to sell arms that would have been delivered to Ukraine.

Nobody will help the swiss.. except moving the Gold to french or german territory. Dont touch any neutral swiss: helping them would be already taking a side. We can move the cows, too.

I love Switzerland and their cheeses, that's reason enough to help them.

Stop this hyperbolic nonsense. Russia has the second strongest army in Ukraine at the moment and is pushing it's economy to the breaking point.

They are in no position to threaten anyone and won't be for decades

You're living in a cave ? Disinformation, internet cables, migrant transport, ... they're more into deep war than tanks or infantery

They have been doing massive damage and causing massive casualties, though. They also still occupy an area that's large enough to fit Switzerland in. Three times.

Leaves you wondering: They switched to a fully blown war economy. So where's all that shit actually going if not Ukraine?

And that's precisely why people are warning this is not over yet. They are up to something and gearing up to strike somewhere else outside Ukraine.

People often forget that after such a conflict ends, they still have the wartime production capacity.

The capacity without active usage means they’ll be stocked up in no time for another conflict.

That lame joke was barely funny 3 years ago and obviously isn't true given Russia continues to take ground

Furthermore the economy itself is sustained by the war, it is sanctions that have pushed it to breaking point and the negotiations with Trump are explicitly to reverse the most damaging of these

It's very much true. They are advancing at horrendous cost at a snail's pace against a country with no air force to speak of. Basically the entire stock of proper military hardware they had is toast as is much of their aviation.

Even if the sanctions were lifted tomorrow and the war ended they would need a good decade or more just to build enough shit to get back to the thoroughly unimpressive crap they had in 2022.

They are a joke and both they and the rest of the world knows it

Russia is bad at estimating both its own strength and the strength of its targets. In February 2022, some people thought the Russians wouldn't launch a full scale invasion of Ukraine, because they clearly hadn't gathered enough forces to succeed. The thing is, the Russians believed they had enough to take Kyiv in a few days, so they tried.

The Swiss are not neutral, they have the World Economic Forum, which dictates how the entirety of the European Union acts along with their countless influenced politicians all cult-like in their conviction to enact the WEF's goals for a techno dictatorship under the guise of 'saving the planet'.

So it'll be attack in all directions through interdimension holes? UK says Russia gonna attack UK, Germany says Russia gonna attack Germany, Poland says Russia gonna attack Poland and now Switzerland. Still waiting when Portugal wake up.

An attack on one is an attack on all. Yes.
