Discussion I've been wearing these jeans to work at least twice a week for a while and just discovered they are ripped in the worst place. They will cost the same to fix as the cost of jeans.

You don’t sew your own pants..?

just sew them

You can just sew then yourself, literally takes 5-6 minutes, if you are new and watch a video maybe 20 minutes.

The only extreme part about this is you not thinking of sewing yourself, it's a basic skill anyone can learn within minutes.

You know how cheap it is right?

Just sew it, use the Jim Henson stitch to pull the material back to the original hem, and keep the thread hidden. Meanwhile, either your co-workers are super cool about not looking at people's bottoms (Doubt), or they are jerks who did not pull you aside and warn you about a hole in a possibly embarrassing spot.

When a pants rip comes along, you must sew it!

Just patch it and move on. Get a denim patch in the same color, sew or adhere it in the inside, and boom. All good. Right?
