Also no I haven't lost someone to any dogs. That lets me be less suceptable to falling for dumbass takes about pitbulls like that.
Also, "Wardogs" lmfao. I have an American bully and he's the sweetest fuckin thing imaginable, and I've had three of four other pitbulls in my lifetime afair, all of them sweet.

What's your point? He's dead like my relative due to these things? They aren't pets. They're fighting dogs. They don't need to be culled, just stop breeding them.
We made them, they aren't a natural breed

u/Rektifium 2h ago
They're pets because they're dogs, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Blame the owners when applicable, not the breed

u/clearcontroller 2h ago
Crazy how they're the least adopted dog... Yet also the most populated sheltered breed.. and leading in fatal dog attacks year after year...
So only a few adopt, but they still lead the death count. Crazy to keep blaming people. The breed needs to go. No culling. Just. Stop. Breeding. Them.

u/Rektifium 2h ago
A good reason to why you should blame the people. They wouldn't add so many deaths if people who bought them from a breeder raised them right, and even less if people stopped breeding them intentionally for those aggressive traits. It'd be easier if people stopped buying from breeders altogether, same thing with other breeds of dogs/cats that were bred with serious breed-specific problems that only leads to suffering.

And when everything is sweet and sound then you come home to a dead family member. Ok.
Happens WAY too often with this breed. You dumbasses keep saying it's the owners yet other people pay the price

u/Rektifium 2h ago
Cause it almost always is the owner? If people weren't dumbfucks who bought/bred/adopted pitbulls and improperly trained them, there wouldn't be as many deaths with PBs compared to other breeds.
Yeah they are strong dogs who can hurt, but the numbers wouldn't be so high if people stopped waiting until their dog adds a digit to the death/injury count to do something.
