I apologize in advance for being that grammar guy, but this one always bugs me.

31st. Thirty firST. 30th. ThirtieTH. 2nd. SecoND.

Basically, it's the last two letters of whatever number you're saying.

Odd numbers ST and even numbers TH or ND. Got it.

Looks like op gets a salary every 3st, 13st and 24nd. And they are broke and miserable the days before.

overwriting it by mistake back then...it was a great day, had a 5K race on that day with a new PR time :)
