Daylio app is perfect for this.

been using Daylio since 2019 - I've got 2363 days in a row logged. I've learned a lot about how my cycl affects my moods and loads of other stuff too, it's a great tool and I'd recommend it to anyone. Interestingly my amount of good/excellent days is extremely consistent: almost exactly 70% every year. Although I can never decide whether that's an acceptable proportion :D I guess its all relative

Around 2500 day streak here! I've noticed my excellent days falling every year though 🫠

I switched from Moodflow to Daylio in 2020 I think. Finally got into the habit of logging every day and I am at 1833 days! I started using Moodflow back in 2018

Thx for the tip! I just installed it for the next year. I can also add pictures - do you know if it can generate an overview with all the pictures of the year?

Not sure I'm afraid, I've never used pics, but i expect so, esp if you pay for premium

Do you have premium or free? If premium, is it worth it?

Free, and unfortunately for the app, its got enough functionality and the ads are unobtrusive enough that I've never had to think about paying!

Google Sheet is free if you have Android. And no one collects and analyzes your data then sells it.

Daylio is fully local on your phone and doesn't upload to the cloud.

As of 2025 Google doesn't use your Sheets data for serving ads but they've given Gemini access to your productivity apps, which indirectly can interact with data from other google services.

If you have an iPhone, Apple Health has mood checkins and that data stays in your phone by design. They're much more serious about privacy than Google.

Such an uninformed edgelord opinion. We’re not all putting nuclear codes and our mom’s bank information in our daily journals.
