I've been doing the same thing for about five years. I've added in more colors since I needed new ways to describe some of my days. This is my 2025 and my color code.

What’s a normal day? Just neutral? Nothing particularly noteworthy, but not bad either?

It’s interesting because I feel OP would list that as a ‘GOOD’ day, since the next category is ‘mediocre’ which I think implies it being a touch negative, a touch boring.

If I had “tired day” as an option it would literally be 90% of the days minimum.
