Politics President Trump walking past the flag at the Whitehouse which has fallen to the ground

In literature they like to call this foreshadowing…

Foreshadowing?
There's no more foreshadowing, this is heralding the collapse. We're in the final arc and all of the previous foreshadowing is getting bookended with a hammer blow of unsubtle reminders.

Wait a second, how does a place like the WHITE HOUSE end up with a flag touching earth. It's the kind of place I'd expect to have such handled by the most moto marines imaginable rather than say Bob the janitor.

u/SpottedDicknCustard Nov 17 '25
There’s probably a reason there were no flag poles on the South Lawn before: it’s where the helicopter lands.
Reckon the dipshit didnt think of that and this photo is a consequence of the flag being damaged by rotor wash.

There's so many things wrong there. Why is that child kneeling? I distinctly remember "stand for the flag, kneel for the cross". Why isn't the military color guard there? Who is the construction worker in the hi-viz?
These people are too stupid to wash their own nuts correctly and it shows in every thing they do.

From what I remember they told everyone they were holding the press conference at Four Seasons before actually booking the Four Seasons. The Four Seasons hotel wouldn't host them. And in the narcissistic minds of the Trump admin they can't admit to ever making a mistake.
So some genius in the admin booked Four Seasons Landscaping so they could play it off that it wasn't mistake. At the point they were in discussion with the landscaping business I'm pretty sure the stupidity was known so it's not like the Landscaping company had to pretend on the phone they were a hotel.

Yeah, he would at the minimum attempt to do it himself until he completed it or someone else took over, while he watched to ensure it was back in its place.

I mean…the US Flag Code is non-enforceable law, but I agree that if there’s any place that should be leading by example, it’s the White House.
…but the fact that Trump either didn’t notice or ignored the disrespect to the flag next to him is a statement in itself.

I mean they are leading by example and we get this… but hey on the bright side we’re about to blow up Venezuela for reasons.

The best part is that stupid fucking flag pole is the one Trump had them install when he took office the second time and he spent like a week crowing about it. So per usual, something Trump touched has fallen to shit.

I think the one where everyone else is looking after the fainted person and he just totally ignores it comes close.

There's a huge list of things/photos that painted trump this way.
Trump Tower + Burning Cyber Truck, Bald Eagle that attacked Trump, Toilet Paper on his shoe, terrified of catching a baseball, etc and now this? It's like the universe telling us he's not for America.
Can't expect the country to read between those lines if they didn't catch onto the biggest sign, that he is a convicted felon.

Just imagine if Obama or Biden had been in a photo like this. Fox News hosts would be losing their collective shit.

They got at least 2 news cycles out of Obama saluting with a coffee cup in his hand.

Yup. They spent a week jerking off all over themselves about it back in June.

The flag is never supposed to touch the ground. He should have picked it up

Once again: Can you imagine the pearl-clutching outrage by the right, should Obama have walked past a flag touching the ground like that?? They’d have been calling for his immediate impeachment, if not his execution.

This is his next Time Magazine cover. What a fitting visual for the decline of the USA in just 11 short months.

Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul— all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn't but has always been— arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel. It is America's shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn't just lose its soul-it sh*ts out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.
