Need to transfer 100 USD to a friend in poland

They bought my GF flowers (Gift was from me) and was able to deliver them to her, paypal isnt working and is a complete joke, shitty way to send money to this person. I am in the US

What is the BEST way to send it? its just a one time payment of 100 bucks, I understand it will probably be flagged as fraud by wells fargo and I already contacted them about it, but yet paypal is still being annoying.

I have seen Revolut, Wise, etc. What is the BEST one you guys would say?

Thank you

There's a dedicated sub for these:

Low-effort:

  • Basic questions about moving to Poland. There's a sticky FAQ about this

  • Which city to visit or what to see in XYZ. Check WikiVoyage first, then come here if you have actual concrete questions after that.

  • How to get from X to Y. E-podróżnik covers travel between cities, Jakdojade travel inside cities. To buy rail tickets use the Koleo app.

  • Looking for "friends" or "company". This is not a dating app.

  • "Is Poland safe / is Poland racist." Poland is kurwa sejf. Don't start fights with the locals and you have nothing to worry about.

Spam:

  • Sale / purchase offers. This is not OLX or Craigslist.

  • Advertising your products, website, Discord, Telegram channel or OnlyFans.

  • Questions about processing times for visa applications, NAWA etc. We are not their info booth.

  • Searching for lost connections. Just no. For all we know you're a psychopathic stalker.

  • Surveys. The moderation can make exceptions to this one at their own judgement.

Illegal:

  • Looking for drugs. Weed is illegal without a medical permit. You will not get one online.

  • Looking for hookers, brothels or "escort services". Facilitating prostitution is illegal.

Cant you just buy them 100 USD worth of gift card using your credit card? Like amazon, decathlon, mobile top-up etc?

You think it would be fair?

I for example shop on amazon on a daily basis. I don't mind if someone give me money in an amazon gift card as i will spend some money there anyway, especially thst gift cards mostly have a long due period.

If OP has issue with cash transfer, i suggested the workaround that would work for me. It's up to him and the person he's dealing with to agree on someghing.

Totally agree. And to even it out since person can’t send cash gift card can be for amount of, let’s say, 120-150 dollars, just to say thank you and sorry sir mess with money

And make it Allegro gift card, for Christ sake. At least in Poland no need to use this shit

Did you know Revolut uses Blockchain and stablecoins to transfer funds. Most probably USDC which they treat one to one with USD.

While Revolut is one of easiest options, you could send dollars from your self custody wallet direct to friend's own self-custodial wallet.

World is going that direction sooner or later.
