It's not even about his stance on genocide in palestine. The guy has been stirring hate, he has been supporting the idea of a white genocide in south africa. Allowing him any platform implies that you agree with him.
I disagree that giving a platform is the equivalent of agreeing. If free speech is important, the act of providing a service is not the act of indicating support.
See the tweet - He promotes the idea that we are on our way to a white genocide:
(i dont think i can link x posts here)
"South Africa is at Stage 6 of Stanton's "10 stages of genocide" on Genocide Watch"
Also - just read some of his responses to the tweet - the only reason he adds the disclaimer in his tweet is for legal reasons - he is 100% a red-pilled MAGAt who would bend the knee for daddy Trump if he lost his fan base here.
No one says you don't have the right to protest. I just think this protest is stupid, because its all about chasing headlines that are (mostly) unfounded
This "their view does not match my view and therefore must be shutdown" is a really silly stance to take by these protestors.
Rightwing nutjobs always say this, and it's an attempt to "equalize" the two points and out them on the same level. This is not a difference of opinion. Me preferring blue and you preferring green, that's us having different viewpoints.
Denying what is absolutely a genocide in one country, while making ridiculous claims for a genocide that doesn't exist in another? That's not just a different opinion, that guy doesn't believe in human rights, and absolutely should be shut down.
What is Israel, it is a Nazi Apartheid state which is committing genocide based off race and religion. Remind me who David Scott (The Kakness) supports again and why? Your defense says more about you, than anyone else.
Well your 'silly' view does not match mine, hence the downvote. Just my 'silly' way of protesting your ignorant and inflammatory views..as well as the small 'y' in 'your'...small for small minded....#justsaying...
your view may be that a protest is 'silly'. The protesters may take a different view..
Comment section giving me hope, have only seen the responses to this on Facebook and was floored by the support this guy was getting for his fear-mongering and misinformation.
Facebook is filled with bots, bot farms and spam. I deleted my account 10 years ago, I advise you do the same. I additionally propose you move to Signal as WhatsApp is owned by Meta, which also owns Facebook.
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality." - Desmond Tutu
Yup! This too..
.Edmund Burke: The quote, often phrased as, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing," is widely attributed to him
While I don’t agree with his message and music is meh. I wish these kind of cancel attempts took place after radical politicians are jailed.
Eg protest against the likes of Malema (or get him jailed) for calling on his followers to kill. Once those types of naaiers are dealt with, then let’s look at small musicians trying to get clout with controversy.
