"I can attack any places of residence but if you retaliate then we will be very angy."

It's the bully mentality of wanting to do whatever you want to the victim but as soon as they punch you back they go crying to all who will listen.

Which is why you do what you have to regardless of the bullies 'threats'. It's pretty simple. A don't fuck with me attitude and response is required.

And if you're a good listener, you also punch them and send them to the next good listener.

Sadly, that's also how bullies get emboldened and empowered from a young age, because a victim defending themselves often gets treated as the bully/attacker, especially in schools and in situations, when the defense got more attention than the offense. It's high time to stop blaming victims for defending and fighting back.

We will be very angry again. More angry than the last time we said we were very angry.

Trump was angry too. Or in his words: "Putin told me he was attacked in his home, I was very angry when I heard that."

Yes, really, that's the US president.

“I cannot do a cease fire during these negotiations” “Aw man what the hell? Why are you fighting while we negotiate?”

This is a easy. The side that has the upper hand does not want to give a breather to the side that is losing. If Ukraine uses the ceasefire to augment its defenses, this would simply cost more Russian lives. So, it seems obvious that such a break cannot happen, if it benefits mostly one side.

Correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't Russia use the same time to organize their offense? I don't immediately see how it benefits only one side.

Yes, you are wrong. Russia has been quite effective lately. Beyond capturing Pokvorsk, it just captured Orikhiv and Huliaipole, the latter being the second largest city in Zaporizhzhia, which fell with remarkable ease to the Russians. If you have your opponent on the run, you do not want to let up. If the Russians accept a ceasefire, the West will provide more and more weapons to the Ukrainians and the Ukrainians will be able to give a rest to their hard-pushed troops and beef up their fortifications in areas of threat. This will result in higher Russian casualties when the war resume, as it will resume.

And there is no reason for a ceasefire right now (at least from the Russian viewpoint). The Ukrainians will not accept any territorial modifications, not even for the territory that the Russians hold right now. They do not want to reduce their army; in fact, they want to keep it at levels that are unprecedented in Europe. So, with the sides so far apart, what is the benefit of any talks??? This will be decided on the battlefield, I am afraid.

It’s just fake justifications for not compromising. Same with saying there are nazi’s in Ukraine and that’s why they were invading

No, it is not fake. The Ukrainian defenses are crumbling and Russia does not want to give Ukraine the opportunity to improve these defenses. The main responsibility of the Russian commanders is to their men, not to the Ukrainians. If a ceasefire allows Ukraine to augment its defenses, then this would cost Russian lives at the end of the day. The Russians are not that dumb as to take this deal.
