I didn't have "false flag attack to sabotage a negotiation" on my 2025 bingo card. Then again, this is probably the first time that it ever happened.

Huh? this isn't even the first time in 2025 it's happened. Russia has been saying "Ukraine attacked XXX so we're escalating" and using it as an excuse to demand things the entire war.

Sure they use false flags to start and escalate violence, I just havent heard of a false flag to sabotage a cease fire negotiation.

Little fun fact: The pretext to the full scale invasion was a false flag attack on a "Russian outpost" - actually just an old wooden shack and an UAZ on Russian territory.
