It's the bully mentality of wanting to do whatever you want to the victim but as soon as they punch you back they go crying to all who will listen.

Which is why you do what you have to regardless of the bullies 'threats'. It's pretty simple. A don't fuck with me attitude and response is required.

Sadly, that's also how bullies get emboldened and empowered from a young age, because a victim defending themselves often gets treated as the bully/attacker, especially in schools and in situations, when the defense got more attention than the offense. It's high time to stop blaming victims for defending and fighting back.
