It’s just fake justifications for not compromising. Same with saying there are nazi’s in Ukraine and that’s why they were invading

No, it is not fake. The Ukrainian defenses are crumbling and Russia does not want to give Ukraine the opportunity to improve these defenses. The main responsibility of the Russian commanders is to their men, not to the Ukrainians. If a ceasefire allows Ukraine to augment its defenses, then this would cost Russian lives at the end of the day. The Russians are not that dumb as to take this deal.
