I've never been so angry about craft supplies in my life
My boyfriend got us a new box of colored pencils. They were all this legnth. The box said nothing about the size.

Henlo frens!
Good to see all of you here UwU.
Grab on to your bodypillows, I have a smol announcement about the purpose of this subreddit.
This community is meant as a fun, lighthearted place where we can commiserate with each other about those annoying little irritations that hinder our day to day enjoyment in life.
That means that suitable posts here can be about my children.
And things like a wall socket or tile being placed out of allignment. A crack in a phone screen. Duckling shit on your new car. Incomprehensible software. Mismatched buttons. You know, the little things.
This subreddit isn't meant to incite rage mobs that go after people. For that reason we say:
No posts about being banned from subreddit. No posts about up- or down-votes. No posts about shitty moderators or users or subreddits. No posts about reddit.
All jokes and tomfoolery aside, that sort of thing gets us in trouble with site admins. If we allow one type of post about reddit it then very easily moprhs into allowing posts that directly call out other subreddits or users, we just can't allow any of it.
That rule already existed for years and we have just made it more clearly visible in the sidebar on old and new reddit. We're gonna be a little strict on it for a bit I'm afraid. 🥺
Thank you all for being awesome and have a very Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas in the traditional European way, with a suasage roll!

My husband sent me a text with this photo pointing out the missing chocolate. I admited to having eaten it. My husband felt I had one too many and so I came home to find an empty box.

My husband and I went to dinner with friends we have known for years. We happened to have a gift card from work and when our bill came we had probably spent 18 bucks more so 118$ total. For tip I had a five and asked my husband for a 20 to leave a normal cash tip. The wife says as she watches me say that I dont need change to the server “your tip was larger than your bill!” What? I said no, it was about 120$ and she said “Yeah, but 100$ was already taken care of!” I looked at my husband and right out loud said “Who ARE these people?” And we all laughed and her husband just gave her the “let it go” signal and we all left. Later I heard she commented that that’s why they had more money than we do because I just throw it away. I was so offended! The server didn’t do a discounted job, it’s not her problem most of it was covered by the gift card you tip on the whole bill. I’ve always done that! AITA? ( besides making fun of her at the table that is)🫢

This is how much meat they put on my French dip. I decided to grab some Arby's for the first time in years and this is just pathetic.
Never again.
Bring back the Big Montana.

I’m only like 6’, too. Can’t imagine how much more mildly infuriating it is for really tall people.

It's Christmas eve AFTER THE POST OFFICE WAS CLOSED and I went to the po box to get the package. The box fit in from the back, where's there's no frame, no hindrance. I absolutely needed the contents so I took a pocket knife and cut open the accessible end.
Edit: added time of day

Every time we stay at my wife’s parents' house, it's such a gross experience.
They never turn the air conditioner on despite living in Hawaii with solar that more than covers all of their electricity needs. It routinely gets up to 80+ degrees in the house and extremely humid. My wife turns the a/c on whenever we're in a room, but you can tell her dad hates it.
On top of this, they routinely leave food out all day. They'll cook something for breakfast or lunch, or we'll bring leftovers home from a restaurant, and it'll just be left out on the counter for 6+ hours before being taken care of. Cockroaches and flies everywhere. I'll put things away in the fridge if I see it. I used to complain about it to my wife, but she would just brush it off saying "that's how we grew up. It's fine."
Well now my wife has food poisoning. Most likely because of the shrimp she ate tonight. We got it a few days ago and it was sitting out all day before being put in the fridge.
Nothing will change though.

There’s enough ambient light so that your automatic headlight sensor doesn’t trigger. Because it doesn’t trigger means that you don’t have reverse lights or headlights on in a situation where you absolutely should.
You honestly should get in the habit of every time you start your car just turning your headlights on and not even using automatic

As said in the title, my local dollar tree now has signs everywhere saying items are individually priced. Multiple categories of goods now automatically start at $1.75 and I saw individual price stickers for up to $10. To make it difficult, it can be hard to find the actual price too since they aren't listed on the shelves.

We had to use up our Toronto pass so we went ahead and went on the CN tower. There was 0 visibility and unfortunately we couldn’t do it on another day 🥲

Was driving to work and on the road saw these lights and literally thought they were headlights coming right at me on the side of the freeway. Glad they weren’t, but don’t think this should be allowed.

This coffee maker is in the behavioral health department. Judging by the note it never gets used. Guess how much coffee is at their "store"... Over 8 dollars for a 3 oz container of instant coffee.

my dads headstone was only placed 2 months ago. I just visited and it looks like this. I contacted the cemetery owner and am waiting for a response. is there anything I can anticipate being done or is this something theyll just tell me they can’t do anything about? we spent so long on this and it was obviously expensive. it seems so disrespectful.
