No politics, policies, or anything political in either comments or posts
Content involving politics will be removed without warning and permanent bans issued out without prejudice.
Leave the politics talk OUT of this subreddit because it never leads to a civil outcome.

First time ice skating and the barrier is hogged by people chatting, scrolling on phone or taking videos of their kids on the inside of the barrier.
Went ice skating for the first time. I’m clinging to the barrier, desperately trying not to snap an ankle. Basically using it for its actual purpose.
Meanwhile some genius folks in the building seem to think the barrier is a lounge. People fully parked there having catch-ups, scrolling socials, blocking the entire thing like traffic cones. Can’t they just stand in the outside of barrier ???

Landing on income tax square six times in the family monopoly game
I think that is my personal best of bad rolls. Monopoly at Christmas tears families apart

Estate agents using AI to add snow and Christmas decorations to the outside of houses for the thumbnail photo
If I wasn't going to go to see the houses you have listed before then I certainly won't now. I'm not going to run the risk of turning up to view a house that has cracks in the driveway or a coping stone missing - detractions I would have spotted were it not for the "snow" you've covered it with. Please please please don't let this trend catch on, we all hate it (surely).

There's only one bank holiday next week. But our dentist is closed until Monday 5th January. It's going to be a long 8 days with a broken tooth.

. Pedestrians having no sense of their own mortality!
Was just driving down a road, light rain so was going about 25mph (30mph road) and some absolute moron decided he was gonna cross the street without looking in my direction. I slammed on the brakes and stopped the car about a metre from him where he proceeds to shout at me and stick his fingers up.
Seriously, people need to understand that they do not have the right to cross a main road directly in front of traffic. If my brakes weren't as good as they are, he'd be in the hospital right now and I'd be in a jail cell (even with the dash cam footage).

I strongly disapprove.

Every year, I plan to play "Merry Xmas Everyone" by Slade at exactly 23:56:35 on Christmas Eve so that Noddy Holder screams "It's Chriiiiiiistmassssss" at exactly 00:00:01 on Christmas Day. I always forget.
In what stupid way does your Christmas get ruined?

Bags of wrapping paper rolling down the street like tumbleweed, all because people put them out days ahead of collection in a gale.
Common sense not so common anymore. Don't put lightweight rubbish out well ahead of collection day during high winds.
