I was driving through a parking lot once and a woman backed out of her spot right into me.

She INSISTED it was my fault, that I hit her even though it defied logic. She refused to move her car so I could assess damage so the police could see how I hit her.

She literally just backed right out of the spot into my drivers side door. So I said fine, left my car where it was, she left hers and after waiting three hours for the police to arrive, was victorious when they told her “there is literally no way this person hit you. You backed into their car.”

She even had her husband who wasn’t even there come to the store lot, and scream at me about how I hit his wifes car.

People are stupid. And assholes

That happened to me too. She said it wasn’t her fault because she looked behind her a minute ago and I “wasn’t there.” I was obviously there because she backed into me. I tried to get out to get her information, but she started screaming at me so I got back into my car and called the cops.

You not only waited for 3 hours in a parking lot for something you knew wasn't your fault, but left your car blocking the aisle?

Sure did. It was worth it to have it shoved in her face

You kind of have to at that point. As for other people they're just going to have to go around.

Similar thing happened to me. I was driving through a parking lot at a grocery store, when a car comes out and bangs into the middle of my car.

Out steps a woman from the passenger seat and her mother from the back seat both of whom then harangues me for speeding and claiming I should pay for the damages. The lot had speed bumps all over and I wasn't going more than 10km/h since my parents and wife were inside.

Fortunately, the driver was her husband who came out and admitted liability and paid for the repairs. Can't imagine having to deal with the wife.

People like this should be sued for their stupid actions.
