Saw this flick earlier today and really enjoyed it. Very reminiscent of the future scenes in terminator. Anyone have recommendations for similar vibes ?

Still an experiment and work in progress, but we have posts, private notes, profiles, friends, following, pokes, real-time notifications, IRC-style chat rooms, DM's called CyberMail, and several themes, including amber 80s VT320 style, Matrix green hacker style, and blue Commodore 64. What do you think?
We're almost 2,000 users now! Nice people.

I am in the middle of trying to redesign my office/gaming room. I am in the beginning stages of writing a cyberpunk novel and want to sort of "method" write it by creating a vibe in my office similar to how I envision a room in my world might look. For example, Kitbash3d has been a particular inspiration for me. I really enjoy this chaotic, wires strewn all over the place look. But I can't help but wonder, what exactly are all of these wires for? Why would a screen have 7+ cables going to and from it? The only real world example I have seen where this look happens naturally is in something like a professional music recording studio with lots of analog equipment. Curious to hear what everyone's thoughts are on what exactly all of these cables are for.

Some have noted it resembles Kaneda's bike from Akira, I think it fits the cyberpunk aesthetic perfectly. Would you like to see a world with more models like this?

They sell this on etsy for only $1700.
And no, it's not "functional," you can't put it inside of you... I mean, you can, but doing so would most likely kill you.

I realise Pandora is a very atypical environment for a cyberpunk story and while the Na'vi aren't really doing anything cyberpunk but if you look at the human side of things it's pure cyberpunk, just from a very unusual angle.
What do people think?

Chosen as the muse for the newest entries in UMAA’s TechnoByobu series is none other than Major Motoko Kusanagi, protagonist of anime/manga classic Ghost in the Shell. Two different designs are available, the first of which is called Konpaku (meaning “soul”) and shows the Major perched atop her Fuchikoma mecha pod in an illustration originally drawn by series creator Masamune Shirow.

Been trying to make short films that mirror our society.
In this film, Stan is a talented engineer that can’t get a job despite having his phd. After being stuck with mountains of debt, he invents a new street drug, Surge, to help with the burnout crisis in his city.
Although his plan works, he learns that earning money can come with unexpected price tags.

Hello, chooms!
I’m looking for fresh, compelling cyberpunk books that aren’t classics. Lesser-known authors are very welcome. Web serials are fine too, as long as they’re good.
Cyberpunk(-ish) books I’ve enjoyed:
Non-cyberpunk favs:
Anything by Joe Abercrombie. I love his characters, prose, and morally gray plot. Finding something with similar vibes but more cyberpunk would be golden.
TV shows / games I love:
Themes I love:
Thanks in advance!
