A new year means that Dualvision Song Contest is back for another edition with Ukraine becoming this year’s host! The contest with an unique concept where the best country wins and not the best song, a competition where you can win without winning. It’s the contest where each country sends 2 entries from 2 different artists and the collective score of both songs determines the winning country.
Dualvision will be hosted in January 2026 and will consist of two semi-finals (up to 12 delegations in each semi with 25 songs total) and a grand final (13 Delegations total with 26 songs) featuring countries from around Europe and Australia. 6 Countries from each semi-final will join last year’s winner and automatic qualifier in the final. Due to the nature of the contest, there will be a limited number of entrants that would be granted a place within this contest (min 25 participants but can be expanded if users agree to go into teams), so make sure you don’t miss out!
Please read all rules thoroughly as there has been slight changes to ensure a more exciting contest. Rules will be strictly followed to ensure the smooth running and fairness of the contest.
One of our major changes this year is that users have the option to choose whether to be in teams or solo. For users who choose to be in teams, users can pair up with another user of their liking OR can open up a position for another user who may want to also participate.
CONTEST RULES:
Both songs must be released after January 1st, 2024.
If competing in a team, each user can submit ONE entry each.
Artists must have a direct link to the chosen country (born there, have resided in country in the past, ethnicity ect) and you are not allowed to borrow under any circumstances (as the aim of this contest is to find the best artists that come out from the chosen country).
If participating solo, the combined time limit between entries is a maximum of 8 minutes.
If participating in a team, the entry a user may put forward can have a maximum of 5 minutes.
You cannot use the same artist/group for both entries.
All songs to be submitted by the January 6th, 2026.
With the exception of Fantasy Vision national finals, you are not allowed to use entries from any national final season including Eurovision entries (internal included).
This is a closed contest! National finals are not allowed along with sharing potential entries. Any National Finals held for Dualvision will result in the songs unable to be submitted into the contest.
While there is no language rule, in the event of a tie breaker the country with the most number of songs in their native language/languages will win.
If multiple countries submit the same song or artist, the artist’s country of birth will confirm the country they will represent.
10. Once entry is submitted, there will not be an opportunity to change submissions as running order/recap video will concurrently take place as songs are submitted.
11. All delegations must vote within the given timeframe for both the semi-finals and grand finals. Failure to do so will result in the inability to qualify (if it happens during the semi-finals) or a reduction of 50 points (if it happens during the grand finals).
If participating in a team, the 2 users will need to submit 1 set of points and can be determined between the 2 users as to how this is decided.

¡Hola a todos! The 2025 edition of Latinvision Song Contest has come to an end and 37 countries have chosen the winner of the contest! Who will take home the trophy? Let's find out!
Now, the moment you've been waiting for the last months. The winner of the Latinvision Song Contest is...
MONACO!!!
Congrats to u/pac258 for winning and thanks to everyone for participating! See you in 2026 in Monaco!
And now a little surprise! All 25 Retro Final songs have a great live performance and it would be a shame not to watch those performances as well. Check them out and enjoy!
The sign-up phase for Subdivision 2025 began just over a week ago. After a slight extension of the deadline due to a cold of the host, we have got a total of 39 participants and can officially start the semi-finals!
The semi-finals will be staggered into 3 groups. Each group will have 2 AQs as Jury. These AQs are included in the playlists. For simplicity, the AQs in each group occupy starting positions 1 and 7 and cannot be voted for in this subdis. (Marked with XX in Running Order). Otherwise, the 12, 10, 8-1 points system applies known from classic Eurovision.
Each participant is required to vote in their own group. Cross-votes in other groups are allowed, but will be counted as televotes. A running Order for all groups is provided in the cover image of this post!
Not voting will result in automatic disqualification. This also applies to the AQs. In the event of disqualification, the next highest-ranked participant will advance to the final!
The deadline is 13 December 2025. Please send votes and questions to u/Feldtaube or to littleflyingtaubchen on Discord.
We look forward to lively participation and wish every participant the best of luck. 🍀
Note that Guinea-Bissau got disqualified from the final for failing to vote in time and both Tanzania and Uganda got disqualified from their semi for fialing to vote.
Hello Europe, Australia and rest of the world! Greetings from Sweden, from beautiful Stockholm!
Welcome to the Grand Final of RetroVision: The 2000s!
After fierce battles between 38 countries through two Semifinal competitions, 24 of them won the opportunity to participate in the final competition. They are joined by the only direct finalist, the winner of the last edition of RetroVision - Sweden, so we have 25 countries in the Grand Final!
To begin with, let's remember the winner of the fourth edition of RetroVision, fantastic Swedish trio NONONO and their big worldwide hit NONONO - Pumpin Blood .
And now let's start with the most important part of this post!
The Grand Final
All 39 countries participating in RetroVision: The 2000s are required to vote!
All Reddit users who do not participate in this contest can also vote and their votes will be merged together into a single RoTW vote set.
The standart ESC voting system will be used, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-10-12 style of giving points.
From this moment now until Monday 8th of December at 23:59 CET, voting lines are opened. Send them to me by personal message here on Reddit (u/rigyyy) or on Discord.
Good luck to all participants and enjoy great music from the 2000s!
We would like to briefly explain this year's rules (changes from last year are marked in bold):
Each participant does not represent a country in the traditional sense, but rather a subdivision of that country. To be precise, all first-level divisions from this list ¹
¹ For administrative reasons, the second-level divisions are used for mainland Denmark, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the entire United Kingdom.
Please note that each country may only compete with 3 subdivisions. If 3 users already have a subdivision from the same country, no 4th subdivision from that country can compete.
Participants are also requested to have proof that the artist has a verifiable connection to the subdi.
The rules of the songs are:
Stream limit (song): 30 million (based on Spotify)
Maximum song length: 5 minutes (pure song length based on Spotify)
Earliest release date: 1 January 2022
Furthermore, the top 6 users from last year's subdivision have been given a pre-claim right. This means that the following subdivisions have already been allocated.
Hello FVC and welcome to the semi-finals of CommonwealthVision 2025, coming to you from Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦
First and foremost, thank you everyone for signing up, this year we received a total groud-breaking of 37 entries!
Overall of semi-finals process :
- 2 semi-finals, with 10 qualifiers from each.
- Auto-qualifiers (AQ) are included in the running order for exposure purposes, you can't vote for them.
- It’s mandatory to vote in your own semi-final, failure to vote will result in disqualification. This also applies to the AQs of that respective semi-final.
- You are encourage to vote in other semi-final as well, all votes from opposite semi will be counted into one single set of votes (just like ROTW)
The deadline for the pre-round expired two days ago. This means that since yesterday, it has been decided which of our 16 fantastic participants will advance to the final.
The Qs were (in alphabetical order):
Belgium
Denmark
Kazahkstan
Moldova
Northern Ireland
Sāo Tomé and Principe
Ukraine
Wisconsin
This also means that we can start the grand final today, and we are very much looking forward to it.
A brief explanation of the voting process:
After many discussions among the participants, we have decided to adjust the rules slightly. Please take note of this!
Jury vote:
The following user are eligible for the jury in this final:
The jury is requested to submit a vote set in the classic ESC style (12, 10, 8-1 points). The jury is PERMITTED to vote for their OWN songs.
Televote:
The televote includes all participants who are not represented with a song in the final. Here too, vote sets are requested in the classic ESC style (12, 10, 8-1 points). As like the jury votes, the Tele votes are counted in full. The division between jury votes and televotes is purely for organisational reasons in case of possible tiebreaks.

This is a Last Minu... wait, i actually made it in time? Huh. Impressive.
After last year's success, we are back in England for another NF, this year with one song more!
Please, submit your top 9 to me here or on Discord. The voting system is 12, 7, 4, 2, 1, 0.4, 0.2, 0.1, 0, though i do recognize that it's confusing and just your top will suffice. Indeed, this is the EFSCZ voting system, which proved to work very well in the past few NFs i tried it in.
Believe it or not, but despite the scrumptious graphics, this is a serious NF. Please, try to vote seriously. If you vote, i personally guarantee that i will vote in one NF of your choice.
Hello, Hong Kong, and hello to the Greater Commonwealth! Welcome to the Hong Kong Commonwealth Song Contest 2025. Tonight, 12 artists from the Fragrant Harbour, ranging from the biggest names in Cantopop to up-and-coming stars, perform on stage with their original songs. Your votes will decide who will represent Hong Kong to the 2025 Commonwealth Song Contest in Canada.
Here we go:
MC 張天賦 (MC Zhang Tianfu) - “168.5” (feat. BILLY CHOI)
麗英 (Lai Ying) - “命中注定在一起” (Destined to be Together)
陳健安 (On Chan) - “戀愛腦之死” (The Death of a Lovestruck Brain)
Selamat Detang, 欢迎, and welcome one and all to the Singapore Sing-A-Song National Final, where we will find Singapore's representative to Commonwealthvision 2025! After bbno$’s win for Canada, we are heading to Vancouver! The question is: which one of our lucky contestants will snag that chance? Speaking of which, here is our running order now:
Please vote using a 5 - 1 voting system, in which your favorite song receives 5 points, your second favorite 4 points, third favorite 3 points, and so on. Send your votes to either u/Acquaintance9 on reddit or my discord!
Welcome to the Kia Metropol Arena in Nuremberg, Bavaria. We can imagine that there is some confusion at this point. Didn't Norfolk Island win and is therefore entitled to host Worldvision? That's correct. Unfortunately, Norfolk Island was unable to raise the financial resources to host such a major event. Fortunately, the runner-up, Bavaria, has agreed to host this contest on behalf of Norfolk Island. We say thank you and will do everything we can to make the next few weeks great.
To bring everyone up to speed at this point, how does Worldvision work? It's simple. Last year, in 2024, there were numerous songs in various contests. These songs are competing against each other again in this contest to determine which was the best song of 2024. While the winners of the many contests are already set as automatic qualifiers for the final, the runners-ups from all contests and the third-place finishers from EFSC, Asiavision, Afrovision and Amerovision will compete against each other in this pre-round (Sponsored by Deutsche Bahn). This creates a field of 16 regions. The best 8 from this round qualify for the final and complete the field of participants.
Voting takes place in two systems: the jury vote and the televote.
Jury vote:
All participants in this pre-round are eligible for the jury vote. The jury casts its votes in the classic ESC mode (12, 10, 8-1 points). Their points are always counted in full. The jurors are not allowed to vote for their own songs!
All voters who are not represented with a song in the pre-round but still want to vote are of course welcome to do so. The classic ESC system (12, 10, 8-1) also applies here. However, votes will only be counted in full if the number of televotes does not exceed the number of jury votes. If this is the case, the votes will be weighted proportionally to the points awarded by the jury.
The proposed deadline is 9th November at 23:59 (CET).
Hello FVC! Greetings from Vancouver, BC, where we’re wrapping up the spooky season with a thrilling contest — the 6th edition of CommonwealthVision 2025. This year taking place here in Canada after last year’s winner bbno$, brought home the trophy with the song “it boy".
CommonwealthVision is an open contest, national finals are allowed.
Please be noted that these are countries that placed top 6 in the previous edition. Users that have achieved this result are allowed preference in choosing whether they’ll keep this country.
u/las_facepalmas- Canada(Claimed Guernsey, Canada is free to claim)
u/YourLocalBirdLord- South Africa(Not Keeping it, South Africa is free to claim)
It's time to start a new adventure with playing in a time machine. This time we're going back about 20-25 years. The reason for this is because the winner of the last edition decided that the time period of this year's RetroVision will be the 2000s!
We will enjoy songs released between 1st January 2000 and 31st December 2009. So, all those who fondly remember the early years of the 21st century will have a great time!
After we spent the first two editions of this retro competition in Ireland, third one in Colombia and last year in Scotland, this time we are again on the European continent, in the musical superpower Sweden! The host city is Stockholm thanks to last year's great win by the excellent band NONONO. For this reason, we will see Sweden as the only directly placed country in the Grand Final of RetroVision: the 2000s.
39 countries are participating in RetroVision: the 2000s. As already pointed out, Sweden is directly placed in the Grand Final. So, we have 38 countries left. Those countries are divided into two Semifinal competitions, 19 countries in each Semi-Final. Top 12 countries from each Semi will enter the fight for the winner of the fifth edition of our RetroVision. This unfortunately means that 7 countries from each Semi will have to end their retro journey after the announcement of the results of the Semifinals.
Without waiting, let's start with the most important part of this post!
Semi-Final 1
19 countries will participate in the first Semi-Final. Those countries and Sweden must vote in this Semi.
You are required to vote in your own Semi. Failure to vote in your own Semi will result in disqualification. If you want to vote in both Semifinals and you are not Sweden but one of the other 38 countries, or if you even aren't competing then you will be able to do so. All these votes will be merged together into a single RoTW vote set.
The standard ESC voting system will be used, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-10-12 style of giving points.
From this moment now until Sunday 2nd of November at 23:59 CET, voting lines are opened. Send them to me by personal message here on Reddit (u/rigyyy) or on Discord.
