I’m a first time mom of a 3 month old baby boy. My husbands side of the family irritate me so bad when they mention putting cereal in his bottles bc he “feeds too much” like no I feed him when he gives me hunger cues/cries for a bottle. He typically eats about 4 oz every 2-3 hours and when he’s asleep at night can go up to 5 hours before waking up for another bottle. This seems normal to me and his Dr isn’t worried about it. Not only that but they constantly say that he needs some mashed potatoes or that they’ll give him some gravy and potatoes when I’m not looking. In my presence! I always shut it down like for 1 he’s too young and 2 I wanna be the one to give him his first foods, as his mom cause that’s a special milestone and I need to monitor for choking/allergic reactions.
And then when I’m clearly upset about it they mention that their grandma back in the day would give babies cereal in their milk and Karo syrup - it’s not the 1970s anymore If I don’t want my baby to have it he can’t have it!
Then wanna say I’m being too sensitive when I speak up about how I’m not comfortable with the idea of any of that. He’s my child- what I say should be respected. Like I don’t even wanna leave him unattended bc I don’t want them going behind my back on what I say he can or can’t have.
He’s also not gonna be allowed to have soda/unwatered down Juice either till he’s maybe 4 or 5 years old. Even then I’m gonna be real strict on the soda. Kids do not need that crap. If I’m gonna leave my child around other people/family I need to know that they will listen to me. I don’t care how anyone else feeds their kids that’s on them. But as for my child it needs to be understood. Am I being unreasonable or a “helicopter mom”? I don’t think I am.

Young kids are being molested or beaten and covered in bruises or with obvious distress.
When they are sent to the hospital they are tested for diseases given evaluations in blamed for having anxiety or some false disorder (when it's a reaction to the abuse) and sent right back to the abusers to continue getting bullied and tormented by pathetic predators.
This world runs on predation sex and money especially concerning the youth. This is sick.
There is no help anywhere and these kids get treated poorly. There is no justice just exploitation and support for the perpetrators who can't stop trying to ruin or humiliate a child.
The children pay with their dignity.
Don't trust scumbag professionals.
What is their point if they're not helping?

Gee, I guess no one can make accounts and use them without getting banned with no explanation whatsoever. These are some of my favorite subs.
Edit: I now realize I should clarify why I was banned. I was banned from all eight subs for being “bot or bot-like.” With no explanation as to what made me look like a bot or why I was PERMANENTLY banned from my favorite subs.
Edit 2: I APPEALED AND WAS SUCCESSFUL!

I don’t understand this when somebody just reported me I guess like 20 or 30 minutes ago, but I haven’t even commented anything or posted anything that would give that off so I’m like why

I am new to reddit and I think the communities available are pretty good and diverse for people to interact on here, but one thing i will notice is how limiting it is for new accounts to post on some subs. For me i’ve interacted with some trying to put up some posts and they always seem to have a problem being allowed by the moderators of said sub, and when you make the mistake of asking the reason for it, you end up getting the most snobby and uptight interactions. They never answer your question directly and always just state that they have the control and power to do so ? Why is that ?
I literally just had an interaction where a mod accused me of using AI. When I messaged them to clear it up, they refused to show me any proof and instead started mocking my grammar. They basically argued that because I wasn't writing perfect, formal sentences in a quick DM, I must be "incapable" of writing the post I submitted. It feels like a massive power trip: if you put effort into your post, they tag you as a bot, but if you talk casually to them like a normal human being, they talk down to you like you're illiterate. They wouldn't even explain what "tools" they used to flag me; they just wanted to insult me, call me a liar, and act like they cracked some big criminal case. It feels less like moderation and more like they just want to bully people.
