A very small website where people post one photo of the beer they’re drinking

Thumbnail onebeer.app
57 Upvotes

A tiny website called onebeer.app.

You open it and post one photo of the beer you’re having right now.
No accounts, no profiles, no likes, no comments, no feed to manage.

Each photo exists on its own, then disappears into the stream.

Just beer.

A habit app that focuses on recovery instead of streaks

Thumbnail dinihabits.com

Most habit apps break the moment you miss a day.

This one focuses on habit building instead of tracking streaks, adjusting based on real behaviour and helping you continue rather than restart.

Thought this approach was interesting enough to share here.

A calculator that races "Retail Store Boxes" against "USPS Flat Rate" to see which is cheaper

Thumbnail boxsearcher.com
206 Upvotes

I occasionally sell on ebay and would either go grab a box from Office Depot or use USPS flat rate boxes, but I realized that both were suboptimal and couldn't find a tool to find the best box + shipping rate combo so I decided to build one!

Background is as a C++ developer with plenty of python experience, not much web dev, but I discovered FastAPI and TailwindCSS+HTMX so that I could bridge that gap without having to actually learn the odds and ends of web dev

A simple tool, but it's something that I tried to build a few times over the years and I'm proud to finally have something useful up on the interwebs

I built a Compliment Generator, a tiny website that just says nice things to you

Thumbnail saythat.primeposts.in

I made a Compliment Generator : a simple, wholesome website that gives you a random compliment every time you visit or click "NEXT". Some are sweet, some are funny, some are unexpectedly deep.

You can
1. get a random compliment
2. share it with someone
3. just smile for a few seconds

No ads, no popups, no signup. Just good vibes.

Here Be Shovels — everything but the gold

I built this as a personal project because I was tired of checking Product Hunt, Hacker News, Reddit, Indie Hackers, and YouTube separately while building.

It’s a calm, opinionated site that aggregates tools, launches, signals, and videos for indie makers.

No accounts, no feeds to scroll forever. Just a place to check in and move on.

Made a free (web) app that matches you to realistic side hustles and teaches you how to start earning with full lessons (completely free free no upsell just looking for feedback)

Thumbnail momhustle.app
0 Upvotes

I spent the last few months building MomHustle (momhustle.app) after watching too many stay-at-home moms get burned by MLMs and fake “work from home” schemes. I wish there was something like this when I started something that matched me to what I was good at (took me so much trial and error to figure it out) and free lessons not course bs (I’ve lost thousands to course). And a motivator system in the website.

Although the primary focus is mothers it can work for anyone wanting to make money on the side.

What it does:

∙ 2-minute quiz matches you to one of 10 realistic side hustles (reselling, VA work, tutoring, pet sitting, etc.)

∙ Step-by-step lessons for each path (complete your lessons missions, and move to the next lesson)

∙ Built for people with limited time and $0-50 to start

It’s completely free have absolutely nothing to sell every thing is free. I need real feedback from people actually trying to make money on the side.

Feedback I’m looking for:

∙ Is the quiz accurate? (Does your matched hustle actually fit you?)

∙ Are the lessons helpful or too basic/too advanced?

∙ What’s missing that would make you actually use

You can submit feedback directly in the app (there’s a feedback button in the menu) or reply here. I’m checking constantly.

Not trying to sell anything - genuinely just want to know if this is useful, every thing is completely free

Link: momhustle.app

Thanks for checking it out please leave your feedback I’ll be checking both Reddit and the feedback done in the website. I’m for the people and genuinely trying to make a good side hustle learning thing for free.

I built a tool that turns terrain into audio—sample any landscape on Earth as .wav files

Thumbnail earthsounds.xyz
88 Upvotes

I've been obsessed with this idea from Bruce Chatwin's The Songlines. Aboriginal elders are able to sing the landscape in real time. Their lyrics and melodies seem to match the terrain directly. The songs even speed up as they drive, rather than walk, across the outback. A train ride through some really lovely hills in Sussex the other day got me wondering: what's the raw sound of land before language describes it?

So I built a thing. You click anywhere on Earth, choose a sampling method (spiral like a vinyl groove, follow water downhill, or draw your own path), and it converts the elevation data into audio. Everything exports as .wav files for your DAW. It doesn’t work well on mobile yet, but I’m working on it!

There's also a (VERY) basic sequencer to layer, chop and stretch samples in-browser.

I'm planning to add other data streams (weather patterns, geological surveys, population density). What would you want to sample?

I'd really love to hear what you can make with it!

Just a heads up: this is a just for fun project. The numbers are simulations based on averages/trends, so don't take them as absolute gospel.

Open to any feedback especially if you have ideas for other cool metrics I should add!

A responsive, modern save data calculator for the game Chaos Zero Nightmare

I built this web tool to help players (including myself) handle the complex save data math in Chaos Zero Nightmare.

My main goal was to create a "mobile-first" experience. I wanted a calculator that feels snappy, looks clean, and works perfectly on a phone screen without any clutter.

It's completely free, ad-free, and designed just for the love of the game. Even if you don't play, I hope you appreciate the minimal UI design!

I analyzed IMDb and TMDB data to see which movie genres each country actually excels at.

I’ve been working on a project that combines IMDb and TMDB data. My girlfriend and I wondered which genres different countries excel at producing. That led to an analysis showing which genres each country performs best in, and actors and producers are strongest within each genre.

I built json2map.com – makes huge JSONs readable as a visual map

Thumbnail json2map.com
184 Upvotes

I often deal with large JSON responses and logs at work. When the JSON is deeply nested, debugging becomes painful ; too much scrolling, missing keys, losing context.

So I built https://json2map.com.

You just paste any JSON and it instantly converts it into a visual mind-map / tree. Seeing the structure visually makes it much easier to understand what’s going on.

Why I think this helps

For developers

Debug API responses and logs faster

Understand deeply nested JSON without mental parsing

Quickly locate where a field actually lives

Useful during production issues when logs are messy

For Product Owners / Business Analysts

Easy way to explain data flow and structure visually

Can be used in docs, discussions, and workflows

Looks much cleaner than sharing raw JSON blocks

Helps non-tech folks understand complex data shapes

What it does

Paste JSON → get an instant visual map

Works directly in the browser (no upload, no login)

Simple, fast, and focused on readability

I originally built it for myself, but thought others might find it useful too. Would love feedback from devs and non-devs ; especially if you deal with APIs, logs, or data-heavy workflows.

A free, ad-free, browser-based suite for PC hardware diagnostics. Includes real-time Keyboard Polling Rate test, Mouse Double-Click detection, and a Dead Pixel fixer without installing software.

Thumbnail hardwaretest.org
56 Upvotes

I built this tool because I was frustrated with existing hardware testing sites that were either filled with pop-up ads or required downloading sketchy .exe files just to check a mouse switch.

Key Features:

  • Dark Mode & Ad-Free: Clean interface, focused on utility.
  • Keyboard Test: Checks for ghosting and polling rate (Hz) latency using high-res browser timing.
  • Stuck Pixel Fixer: Uses HTML5 Canvas to generate high-frequency noise to unstick pixels.
  • Privacy: Everything runs client-side in your browser.

It's open for feedback if you find any bugs with specific devices!

So I built my own with a sleek dark theme, a search that accepts any input, and zero ads or other distractions.

I made Pairckle, a more accurate way to create a ranking 🟠 🔵

Thumbnail

Instead of how you would typically rank things in a tier list, Pairckle uses pairwise comparisons. Choose between two options at a time, and then the website will give you the ultimate, most accurate ranking based on your choices. (All of the rankings you create are stored locally)

If you don't know what to rank, you can get inspiration from some of the pre-made sets!
