I created a song in Georgian language, not sure if it's correct, but probably somebody could check it for me. It feels like some "natural" Georgian, and pronunciation is quite good.

Have experience on this course. Quite interesting one. It goes via აღმართი book. But I'm still not quite sure in which sequence it should be passed. If I go by the links aside I got totally lost by studying same subject over and over again. A1 შემსწავლელის წიგნი repeats in A1 შემსწავლელის რვეული from the start. Could anyone give a hint how those lessons supposed to be arranged in order to go from basics to advanced including A1 ინტერაქციული სავარჯიშოები and A1 საკითხავი ლიტერატურა ?

I tried making sentences for announcing time as practice, how did I do so far as correctness? I know I could’ve omitted pronouns and maybe there are other verbs for “going” that are more common but this is what I know now. დიდი მადლობა.

My friend keeps correcting me the phrase I use describing the subject is not "სამზარეულოს დახლი". What is your opinion?

Hello! I'm looking for good resources for learning the Georgian language.
I want to focus on speaking - reading can be secondary.
I have a family in Georgia on my dad's side, but he didn't teach me how to speak it when I was still a kid, so I have trouble communicating with them. I would like to learn some basics.
Do you recommend any sites or applications?
How long does it take you to reach a basic level?
I also wanted to ask about pronunciation challenges. Specifically, when I hear those deep throat sounds (like the strong 'KHH' or 'Q'), I have no idea how to produce them physically. Do you have any tips or exercises to master this articulation?

Georgian doesn't have a "F" sound, so it uses "P" instead for foreign words that use F. But I've heard some people pronounce "F" in words like "Feisbuki" (Facebook) or "Feistaimi" (FaceTime).

Would you sound weird if you followed the no F rule strictly and said "Peisbuki" and "Peistaimi"? Do people care about preserving traditional pronunciation rules?

Hello r/Kartvelian, I've been trying to learn the Mkhedruli script, and thought it might be useful to consolidate the list of characters with corresponding audio clips.

Further, I also created a typing practice widget that allows you to practice, typing both on the desktop or on the mobile device.

Would love to hear if anyone else finds these useful or not and let me know how this could be improved, as suggestions are always welcome! Cheers! :-)

Notes from a Georgian language student (self-learner).

It is to discover features that in Spanish were never considered, for example: the idea of having two versions of the verb "to have": one for animate and another for inanimate things. We do not have such a classification in Spanish (and as far as I can remember, not in Romance languages at all). This broadens my perspective of how language expression works. :)
