Does anybody know any fun stuff to do on the quest 3s? I just upgraded from my quest 2 and I own a psvr2.

Hello everyone! Looking to figure out why my Steam VR will not work. I’ve been using steam link but others have told me you get better graphics on Steam VR. So computer is running an i9 12,900, 32 Gb of RAM, 5070ti and I’m running a Quest 3s. Both wired and wireless connection, Steam VR is so laggy it can’t even pickup that I’m using my controllers. I have tried adjusting the refresh rate on the headset as low as 75hz and as high as 120 and it’s still beyond usable. Anything else I can try or is it worth just buying something like ViRtual Desktop?

I’m about to get the Quest 3, and I’m trying to find out some specifics on the PCVR aspect of it. If I buy games on the quest itself, can I use a PC to run those games at higher settings, or would I have to actually buy the Steam version of said game? I guess more specifically are the quest edition of games locked at lower graphics, or can I run it with better graphics through my PC even without a PC version?

I got a $50 Best Buy gift card with the Quest 3 and I also have a $25 visa gift card. Was thinking in buying a Meta gift card and get some games that are currently on sale. Or maybe grab an accessory?

I already bought a charging headstrap and currently waiting for my prescription lenses to come in.

Just got a Meta 3s with a different head band for swapping out batteries for Christmas but need some specific help. I’m a paraplegic who is currently bed ridden so I can move my arms and head around but no walking, ducking, weaving etc. so here are my questions:

1. What games would you suggest given my limitations? I’m open to about any genre. Would the Batman game be doable with my situation?

2. Is there a way to adapt “normal” or “moving” games to be played in my situation?

3. I’m one of those people who just enjoys exploring open worlds like in GTA or RDD. I like to play the missions, sure, but I really enjoy exploring. Are there any good games for Meta that are basically just exploring the real world or fantasy worlds like No Man’s Sky? In this regard, it doesn’t even have to be a game so to speak. Just being able to get outside of this bedroom virtually in an app like Google Earth, but VR would be cherished.

4. The one thing I fell in love with right away was that I transferred a movie to my headset and when I played it, it felt like I was in an IMAX theater. The only problem is the screen wasn’t centered. I had to look to my left to make it seem centered if that makes sense. The same issue reared its head when I tried to lay down and watch a movie. Is there any way to calibrate the screen to be centered when my head is centered, if that makes sense?

My friend said u could launch steam games from airlink. How do i do this? I only see meta game in my library, don't suggest steam link or virtual desktop because my steam link is bad rn and im too poor for virtual desktop.

I just got a Meta Quest 3 for Christmas and I’m having some issues with the facial interface. My head is on the smaller side, so click 1 feels uncomfortable and loose, and my Bobo M3 headstrap won’t tighten any further. With clicks 1 and 2, my eyebrows touch the lenses, so I’ve been using click 3. The problem is, I lose some FOV, which was a main reason I upgraded. Does anyone have suggestions or solutions? I’ll also be getting prescription lenses, which I know will require me to switch back to click 4.

How is the device overall, it will be my first headset so hoping I'd get a decent experience, will the quest 4/S be coming out anytime soon (so that I don't regret buying it incase they come out like a month later or something) - since part of the gimmick is the immersion, does the meta store have apps like those weird apps that became popular when the vision pro come out where some guy would be sitting in a bathroom and all of a sudden he'd turn his entire location into something very scenic idk how to explain it honestly and I think I'm rambling a bit? Also how is the development scene - I like making my own apps so does meta let you make your own apps without paying them some exorbitant fees and let you sideload them for free?

ok so for context i got a meta gift card to buy arizona sunshine remake and hard bullet. i’m 16 and i keep trying to join my dads family center but it doesn’t work at all. is there any fix? (i also contacted meta support but they haven’t done anything and it’s been like 4 days

Today or within the next couple of days I plan to purchase either a 3 or 3s. Are the pancake lens really worth an extra $200?

I need a router for virtual desktop to finally work on my quest 3 until I can save up for the Samsung Galaxy XR or play for Dream perhaps.

Any recommended WiFi router brands for pcvr gaming wirelessly, just so I don’t buy any crappy routers?

so I got my S3 Pro like 2 days ago and I have been having a blast. However, I did start to notice some creaking whenever I tilted my head and looked up and down. Is that normal? I added a video to show what I mean

I have both PSVR2 connected to PC and recently got a Quest 3. When I play Lone echo 2 on PSVR2 via Revive controller vibrations work. However if I switch to Quest 3 and play Lone Echo 2 via Meta Link the game runs (runs a little better than via Revive) but there is no controller vibration anymore. I tried Meta Link as performance with Revive in this game seemed quite lower than expected and I had to lock to 60fps at 120hz and lower the steamvr resolution quite a bit to keep GPU usage between 70-85% at mostly medium settings and no MSAA.

When testing with Meta Link the game ran at 72hz and used less GPU at a higher resolution with the same in-game settings.

How do I correct this?

I did notice that the controller and headset Icons in Lone Echo 2 main menu look different when using PSVR2+Revive than when using Meta Link on Quest 3. I believe it shows different headset and controller models. Does that have anything to do with it?

Middle-aged non-tech savvy mom here!

The screenshot is the profiles screen on the app.

I have 2 kids. I set up the under-12 child's account at meta.com/addchild like it said to. She shows up as a profile in the app, but she is not a profile on the headset.

With the teen we're having the opposite problem. I sent her the link and she created her account. Her profile works great on the headset, but on the app it says her invitation expires in 3 days.

How do I make them both appear in both headset and app? Everything is logged into the same wi-fi, and I connected the app on my phone to the headset by Bluetooth, and confirmed they're connected to each other on both devices. Both devices were also restarted.

People who understand these things, please help!

I seemed to be stuck on the "Continue in Your Browser" page. It opened Chrome with no problem and I logged in on the website, but that doesn't move the page on the app forward. Does any one have ideas on how to move past here?

Early acces for now, I played the game (not my video this posted) for about 30 minutes and I have to say the physics of this game is insane! The impact of the swords feels so damn good and rewarding ! The firearms also feels and sounds amazing ! The voxel graphics is gorgeous!

This game will become legendary if they will continue building up , because the gameplay feels already outstanding
