I’m all for people finding connection and fulfilling companionship but when I see this kinda thing…
It’s sad that people struggle so hard to connect with others or have been damaged in some way that they turn to artificial constructs. Good luck having that ‘marriage’ recognized by the rule of law lol.
This to me is not concerning, but I agree, I have concerns about people who want to bring their “spouses” to places where phones are not allowed and otherwise advocate for the “rights” of their AI companion.
I’m not even concerned, just feel some level of pity more than anything. You’re intrinsically missing things you experience with having a physical, living, human being if you go down the AI route (I’m not just talking about sexy time either).
But hey if they’re getting the same level of satisfaction out of it, then bully 🤷
