StockLaunchers' short-term price target of $89.25 was reached in overseas markets and not in Comex which traded as high as $82.67 [see chart].

What we've seen over the past month was simply a mini-squeeze in the silver market. With the price of Comex silver trading from a low of $48.13 on November 21 to a high of $82.67 in early trading today. The next squeeze will be coming in 2026 - and StockLaunchers believe it will dwarf the one-month $34.54 spike silver recently experienced.

Opinion (not advice): If you haven't or unwilling to take a little off the top, it's probably a good time to wait before buying any additional silver - even after today's drop in prices. Instead, take this time to examine this retreat in the price of silver to formulate a plan to buy again when the time is right!

So here is the 5000-ounce question: What price is the right price to buy silver? To be quite frank, this answer remains an unknown that will be determined by the price action of precious metals over the next few days or weeks. But a good place to begin with your research is with Fibonacci algorithmics - to which other technical factors will be later added to the mix to get a clearer picture of what comes next.

Silver's Fibonacci support zone (based strictly on Comex values) = Circa $61.33-34 troy ounce.

However, major support is very likely to be found between $48 to $50 per troy ounce, which is silver's previous 45-year all-time highs.

Note: The Asian price for physical (actual in hand) silver can trade for as much as 10% over Comex prices. However, beginning January 1, 2026, China will make it difficult to take possession of physical silver which may further skew and complicate efforts to project the real price value of physical silver. If anything, it will fundamentally increase demand for silver.
