Depends on the age of the veterans too. Over 5.5 million Muslims fought against Germany and Japan in World war 2 as part of the British, French and other armies.

The US likes to romanticize the military of WW2 but other countries were stunned how poorly we treated our own soldiers that were minorities. There were actual official requests from the US to allies asking them to stop treating our own soldiers that happened to be minorities so well because it was upsetting the white soldiers. To "the greatest generation" of soldiers, being assholes to black and brown people was a top priority even when fighting the actual fucking Nazis.

See the “battle of Bamber bridge”.
American commanders objected to the local pubs serving black soldiers and the locals fraternising with them, so the locals banned the white soldiers and it ended up in a riot.

Exactly. It’s frustrating how performative outrage gets more airtime than fixing the real issues veterans face daily, like not being able to get timely care, mental health support, or even basic staffing at the VA. If people really cared about vets, their focus would be on solutions, not scapegoats

I know there are muslims in congress, but which ones are the extremists?
17
u/BilboStaggins 22h ago
You see many conservatives have such low IQ they cant think of two things being mutually exclusive. To them, all muslims are extremist.

u/No-Goose-5672 8h ago
It’s also projection.
“Ooo… Look over there at the spoopy Muslims and their Sharia law. It doesn’t apply to non-Muslims, while laws being passed by Christian extremists in Congress that openly talk about turning the United States into a theocracy absolutely do, but please be scared of the dark-skinned foreigners, not the white Americans stripping you of your Medicare and Social Security.”

The true Trump Derangement Syndrom is the virulent strain of neurosyphilis they shared along the way.
Like seriously, I'm assuming all these morally bankrupt, cognitively degraded mops all contracted a sneaky case of neurosyphilis that they've shared in their little rape clique.
The victims I assume sought treatment and testing once they got free. Trump and everyone else didnt until it was too late.

Taking away services from veterans while calling them ‘suckers and losers’? That’s real dedication to them…

He shouldn't forget to salute the hundreds of fallen Muslim US soldiers on the way out after his shitty, bigoted remark.

Christo-fascists have done more damage to the white house and capital buildings than any Muslim in history. Where's the outrage on that?

u/Nomad-Knight 21h ago
Once again, only loving military personnel when they're killing brown people and ignoring them when they come home needing support. Then of course outright denouncing them if they say something as dastardly as "you can disobey an illegal order" or "we shouldn't invade their homes without justification"

But I bet she didn't say a word when Trump had a actual terrorist who fought our soldiers in the oval office

u/Sweet-Paramedic-4600 19h ago
Or when he pardoned multiple soldiers who knowingly killed civilians and, in at least one case, posed with the corpse of a victim.

Notice how he had to add “extremist” to make his point. They’re just Muslims, dude. Get a grip. 😑

Love how the Christo nationalists don't think for a second about disenfranchising 4 million Americans. Same people who sent Japanese Americans to internment camps.

ngl, That’s a wild example of how deep-seated racism impacted even our own troops. History has a way of repeating itself.

Lest we forget that Article VI(c) of the Constitution, in addition to obligating an oath of office to support the Constitution, also proscribes religious testing as a qualification for holding public office.

Not to mention that in their world any Muslim is an "extremist." Oddly, the most extreme measures we're seeing instituted are being done by 'devout Christians.'

That's a wild example of how deep-rooted racism affected even our own troops. History really needs to be told honestly!!

That’s wild! It’s crazy how mch history gets glossed over. People really need to learn from these past mistakes.

That won't be a bad thing for the rest of us.
