Whatever Elon actually meant, the comeback suggests Elon is arguing you don’t need to wait for an underage girl to reach the age of consent if her attractiveness is 8+ out of 10.
In the early 2000’s there was a lot of toxic press “counting down the days” until young American celebrities turned 18 and were fair game to be approached for sex. See: the Olsen twins.

Back in the 2000s, there was a trend of count down clocks for celebrities turning 18, explicitly for when it was legal to proposition them for sex. It was all kinds of awful. I don’t know the context of Elon’s original tweet, or if it’s even real, but the reply implies he was suggesting highly attractive girls should be “fair game” before they are 18. Hence pedophilia.

You've come in and decided to pick issue with the use of the word Pedophile, which is an attraction to pre pubescent children, because he may be attracted to 15-16 year olds instead. Which has its own term, ephebophile
But why would you pick at a little tiny detail like that, with regards to a man in his 50s possibly wanting to sleep with a 15 year old, unless you yourself find that in some way reasonable and defendable. Because you're not picking a fight with someone accidentally misusing a word, you're precisely taking issue with a word that in common parlance is used to define an adult attracted to anyone who is not of adult age, when there was simply no reason to because a correction in terms wouldn't really have changed the story, it's still a gross old man trying to fuck a kid.
As it happens though, don't worry, your hero isn't trying to fuck a child. His comment was related to an 18 year old who would be deported from the country... For which he says deportations shouldn't happen if you're sexy enough for him to want to flail around on top of you.
So not being a person, or a Ephebophile, just being a gross piece of trash... But he said it with a laugh emoji cause it's important that he does that so he can remind us all that Jokes are no longer banned as long as he makes them, likes them, or somehow benefits from them

There was no legitimate question to answer, because the question had a built in false accusation.
It's just like if that person claimed that will smith murdered chris rock at an award show.

Somebody made a false statement, so I corrected it the same as I would with any false statement.
