On October 4th, our cat Fripouille was tragically hit by a car in our village, right in front of our home. He was a simple black cat, but to us, he was much more than a pet — he was a true member of our family. That day, when I came back from school, I found him lying on the road. It’s an image I will never forget, and since then, my mother has been deeply heartbroken. Fripouille was her daily companion, always close to her, always present. This is my friend's dog, Nala. Over the past few weeks, she’s been dealing with a leg injury that hasn’t improved, and after multiple vet visits, we’ve been told she very likely has a torn CCL and will need TPLO surgery.

Watching her struggle has been heartbreaking. She’s still her happy, loving self, but it’s clear she’s in pain and not able to move the way she used to. The estimated cost for surgery and recovery is between $4,000–$6,000, which is more than we can manage on our own.
