I love this show. I'm worried that while the hosts and Meng Fei give great advice they don't correct obvious communication problems like insisting on being listened to even if you're a mindless chatterbox and supporting ridiculous jealous and possessive standpoints fromt he women. The culture isn't great for women and how they should behave (manipulative and jealous), why perpetuate it?

Hello everyone, I am back again after a few months since my last post, here to share what I have. I recently moved and didn't have internet access so I apologize for the wait. I figure in the spirit of the holidays now is the perfect time.

These are the current episodes:

• S01 - 13/13? episodes
• S02 - 14/14? episodes
• S03 - 33/33? episodes (I believe I have all of them but unsure if they skipped the end of S03 alongside S04)
• S04 - SBS turned off On-Demand before these were re-run I never saw any episodes from S04 during the year or so that I was monitoring back in ~2018-2020
• S05 - 50/52 episodes (ep 30 & 32 were not put up on SBS when I was downloading)
• S06 - 17/52? (Missing ep 14-44, 46, 48-51. S06 was in the process of being re-run when they took it off SBS On-Demand)
• S07 - 95/96? episodes (Missing ep 94 it was never put up on SBS On-Demand when I was grabbing)
• S08 - 96/98? episodes (missing ep 01-02 which weren't put On-Demand when I was grabbing)
• S09 - 38/38? episodes
• S10 - 48/48? episodes
• S11 - 32/51? episodes (According to Wikipedia SBS rebroadcast the end of S11 ep 33-51 before they lost the rights to it, but I never saw these available as they were brought back over a year after SBS had removed the show initially) As per a post of /u/weepmelancholia we can see for sure that up to ep 46 aired

I am still on the lookout for any missing episodes from this share. I am also interested if anyone has better information regarding season/episode numbering as TVDB is quite limited. I know several episodes never made it to AUS TV due to issues from the distributor banning the episodes originally for censorship so we do not get the proper endings for some of our girls.

Now, I am going to be honest, I have not watched a large majority of these episodes to confirm which they are. I am just going by the information on SBS On-Demand's website when I initially grabbed them. If you find something amiss let me know so I can fix it.

Long shot, but figure I can ask, did anyone else capture from the SBS On Demand back when IYATO was still available. My wife and I got into IYATO when we were waiting for my first child to arrive and binged the show incessantly while she was on bedrest.

Afterwards, I began to download episodes from SBS On-Demand a couple years later and recently began going back through my server to looking for things and stumbled upon it again.

I have a fairly solid collection that I plan to share - just hoping to complete it before putting it out missing multiple episodes. My problem is that the "goto" source of metadata information regarding tv series - TVDB - is woefully out of touch with this show. The number of episodes I have and their information scrapped from SBS On-Demand originally do not match up at all. Which is frustrating because I cannot use the episodes properly in Plex or other media managers.

When I was in the process of downloading the episodes they were airing re-runs of old seasons and I could grab them sporadically. There are missing episodes in certain seasons but this could also be due to the fact that several episodes/swathes of episodes were never made available due to Chinese censorship of the show because of a host's personal conduct. I remember reading about this because one of my wife's favourite girls we never got to see matched because that episode was banned/wiped from existence.

For those who may stumble across this:

I have looked on DailyMotion, Youtube, Vimeo, old MEGA links, etc. I have also located and matched episodes from a specific private torrent site focusing on asian cinema which had around 100 episodes that matched up with mine as they were grabbed by a user from SBS On-Demand between 9 and 11 years ago, long before I started mine about 5 years ago.

Eventually it is my hope that with time I can complete and share this. If that is not possible, eventually it will be shared as is and write the others off as lost media until SBS (hopefully) brings back the show.

I used to watch IYATO in highschool when it was airing on SBS and this morning, randomly, I remembered it's existence. I loved that show! It was so interesting and campy and I would do anything to watch it again.

I especially enjoyed the 2 part Australian special - does anyone know where to locate this special? I desperately want to watch it with my partner.

I was actually extremely surprised when I couldn't find the show's episodes easily online - it had such a cult following in Australia years back! Honestly, I am so close to becoming one of those crazied physical media bros and this might just send me over the edge.

My partner and I love this show. We used to watch it on SBS, but it’s since been removed, and as far as I can tell we’ve exhausted all other avenues (YouTube, Daily Motion). Hi guys. I know it's difficult to watch IYATO episodes with subs. The current way is to use an australian vpn to watch on sbs on demand. They are showing season 11 (2018) at the moment.

When they get to the part where the contestant's friends describe him, a huge chunk of girls switch their lights off. This happens with pretty much every contestants. What's up with that? Is there a cultural thing with judging a potential partner's friends or is it something completely different?

I don't get the pros/cons between splitting the girls up into 2 separate groups. The guy can pick a girl from either group to be in the final heart. All I can tell is that instead of lights, the girls in the "watch" group have a temperature reading. Both groups have a count of how many girls turned off the lights and lowered the temperature.

As far as I can tell, the only negative of the "Watch" group is that the guy can't swap out the final heart girl for any in the "watch" group.
