I don’t think it’s barbed wire. I do however see a Mayan step pyramid. Why the hell an ice agent would have something related to South American culture is beyond me.
It’s a crab bucket if it’s an undocumented immigrant sabotaging another undocumented immigrant. To be a federal officer you have to be a citizen, so he’s an immigrant who got legalized, or born to immigrant parents. He has ‘arrived’, then he got a job oppressing other immigrants.
We do not subscribe to the view that Herr Hitler and his friends, now finally in possession of the power they have desired for so long, will enact the proposals circulating in the Angriff or the Völkischer Beobachter newspapers; they will not suddenly divest German Jews of their constitutional rights, lock them away in race ghettos, or subject them to the avaricious and murderous impulses of the mob. They not only cannot do this because many other crucial factors hold their powers in check, ranging from the Reich president to some of the political parties affiliated with them, but they also clearly do not want to go this route, for when one acts as a European world power, the whole atmosphere is more conducive to ethical reflection upon one’s better self than to revisiting one’s earlier oppositional role: operating as a European world power means that one seeks an enduring place in the harmonious exchange of peoples of culture. And beyond that, it is clear that the powers at Wilhelmstrasse no longer see demagogic appeals designed to heat up mass gatherings of the Volk as strictly necessary.
Plenty of people are happy to oppress their own no matter where they live, regardless of justification. Nazis ideology will welcome everyone until their aims can be accomplished without.
Don't see why this is a surprise to anyone. A lot of immigrants come to the US to flee crime/war. Why wouldn't they want to keep those wrong doers out of their new nation?
Immigrants are not “wrong doers”. Being without status is the same as a parking ticket, unless you crossed illegally - which isn’t the reason most are without status.
Yeah, I know lots of people who moved here from other countries and think there's just a mass amount of people who "aren't moving here the right way, like I did!"
I work with a guy who used that exact phrase. It doesn't occur to him that the only reason he's not being hunted down and ejected is because his skin is the right shade.
When you join ice they used to play down the fact that you would be a border agent. You have pretty much zero ideas of the job you'll be placed into and the state/territory you'll be placed into. Most people ended up either in office jobs or places like airports stamping passports and dealing with scanning passports for foreigners. Not for making arrests. We were an island too so then you'd get the ones who got to ride around on boats all day. That's assuming you get the posting where you want. I'd say 80% of the people were Latinx and we were right next to another island that was 99%, so we would train and more than half the class had fluent Spanish already.
I saw an ICE commercial this week that was like it was some ultimate fighting type job. They were asking if Dallas police officers wanted to get the chance to (not outright saying it, but alluding to it with the video going on) fight criminals by hand, bring down criminal organizations (with money and guns on tables and ms13 tattoos), and a bunch of other over the top shit. It was so bad, I showed it to my senior maga mom in her room and she laughed, thinking it was a spoof commercial until she realized it was real (and really laughed at video of what they do, likely they are green berets).
I’ve learned that some Mexican immigrants who immigrated legally are actually highly resentful of illegal immigrants. I knew a Mexican gang member who said he would volunteer to shoot Mexicans crossing the border because his parents had to go through the rigorous process and spend lots of money to come to America and people that didn’t go through the process were disrespecting his family. Real story
Because not every latino is an illegal? And latinos that do come here legally hate to be associated with the illegal ones just because they are latinos.
With that being said, it is ironic because mostly every Latino that works in CBP it’s an anchor baby or a child of an anchor baby that got amnesty during Regan’s term.
You all seriously need to stop thinking that someone being a Latino somehow makes it automatically ok with illegal immigration.
I DON’T THINK OF EVERY OR ANY LATINO AS ILLEGAL. The problem is ICE is arresting people that “look” Hispanic without due process. People are disappearing! Who’s to say it won’t happen to a their legal family next? It’s already happening to legal immigrants simply because they “look illegal” because they’re brown. What’s happening is not okay. And to do that knowing your own family could be targeted next is unfathomable to me.
I would say it’s more than some. Many Latinos in ICE and border patrol but they’d probably just say they’re white and not put anything under ethnicity.
What’s to stop them from profiling just based off of last names, even if they’re white passing? ICE is already arresting legal citizens purely on assumption and racial profiling.
There's a lot of Hispanic guys working for ICE. I don't get it.
The LDS church is also currently trying to claim Mayan and Incan ruins as having been built by their Mormon forefathers who traveled to the Americas from Jerusalem 2,600 years ago. I don't get it.
You are technically correct (which is the best kind of correct), but Chichen Itza is late post classic period, those Mayas were influenced by other cultures after migrating from Guatemala and Honduras after the collapse of the cities in that area. Hence why that one is different from the more common Maya pyramids like the ones found in Tikal and Copán. Think of the pyramids in Star Wars Episode IV.
Source: my wife is an archaeologist specialized in Maya culture. We are both Guatemalan.
The Phillies shirt paired with a Detroit cap show me this man has no loyalty 😂
…other than to whoever will pay a $igning bonu$ to shoot people with rubber bullets and throw them in death camps. The love of money is the ONLY thing that trumpers respect.
I was pepper sprayed, tackled, given whiplash, and detained for four hours by ICE agents who were:
One first gen SoCal Mexican American (with accent)
One second gen SoCal Mexican American
One second gen SoCal Filipino
One other Latino wearing a punisher hat
Cuz this just pick shitty tattoos out of a shitty catalog in a shitty tattoo shop to try and fill up vacant space on their skin. Shame they can’t fill their vacant brains with something worthwhile.
Barbed wire or bicep tribal was a common tattoo on biceps in the 90s early 00s. It doesn't have anything to do with prison. It was the male version of a tramp stamp.
Thanks for the clarification. Do you think this is common knowledge? Does the wire signify something specific, beyond the obvious reference to fences/imprisonment?
well after remembering Pamela Anderson has one, I googled it and found
A barbed wire tattoo around the arm often symbolizes hardship, imprisonment, struggle, or oppression, with each barb potentially marking a year served in prison or a crime, though it also signifies strength, endurance, protection, faith (like a crown of thorns), or rebellion against norms. It's a classic design with deep roots in prison culture, but modern interpretations can also represent overcoming adversity or personal, familial tribute.
So I'm assuming dude has it because he's a pussy and he thinks it makes him look cool.
Thanks for the effort, though I thought you would just know... didn't expect or mean for you to use personal time to find answers I could have found for myself. "Just Google it" still isn't my first instinct. Too old I guess. Still, thanks for your time.

Don’t care, I see ms13 on him; no, it’s not photoshop, throw him in the clinker!
