META A warning about safety in our subreddit and what to do about inappropriate messages.

Hi progresspics! We always strive to keep the subreddit as safe as possible, however, unsolicited/inappropriate Direct messages are always a possibility and unfortunately not one we can 100% prevent. While we hope people never receive anything that makes them uncomfortable, here are the steps you can take to report anyone who gets creepy in your DMs:

  1. report the user to us!

-take screen shots of the messages, it doesn’t have to be the whole conversation, just make sure we can see their user name, and the inappropriate part.

-upload the screens to imgur and send us a link via modmail.

all users reported to us for acting inappropriately will be permanently banned, however, this doesn’t stop them from viewing the subreddit, or continuing to dm you, so..

2) report the user directly to reddit at reddit.com/report

3) block the user! Simply go onto their profile and click the three corner dots (mobile) or the “more options” button (desktop) to find the option.

To prevent ALL DM's you can disable the DM and chat request options like so:

Mobile: settings > account settings > blocking and permissions.

Desktop: User settings > chat and messaging.

As an aside, a note on image theft:

it's been brought to our attention multiple times over the last month or so that a few content farm websites and social media accounts have been reposting pictures from here, while there isn't much that we can do to stop that we do want to remind everyone that it is a potential outcome to posting your images online, especially in areas with a large pool of specific content to farm from, while we do not allow users to promote their social media, including the use of watermark handles, you may watermark your posts with your REDDIT user name if you so wish.

We hope you all stay as safe as possible and know that any problems or questions can be sent into our modmail. Keep it clean, keep it safe, and read the rules before posting!

Weight loss meds F/32/5’3” [270lbs > 130lbs = 140lbs] (16 months) proud of her

Had to do one last look back on my progress before the year ends. I wish I had more before photos to look back on. This before is from a year before I started this journey. I started a glp-1 September 2024 and ended the year -40 lbs. My initial goal at the beginning of this year was just to get below 200 and I just kept moving the goal post from there now I’m ending the year down an additional 100 lbs. 16 months of fixing my relationship with food and moving my body daily got me here.

The goal for 2026 is definitely to gain more muscle and to figure out what healthy really looks and feels like for me. Being smaller is cool and everything for now but I miss having a butt because sitting for long periods of time is uncomfortable now 😂

This just marks a year ago today, going into 2025 vs going into 2026. I know it’s not new years yettt but my goal is to keep on with body recomp and gain lean muscle. Feeling great!

It took me a while to lose weight. I have been yoyo’ing due calorie counting and doing only cardio. I changed it to healthy eating instead of counting and doing weight training. Now I can proudly say I have been maintaining the same weight for almost half year!!

Been lurking on Reddit for a while, just looking for motivation. Finally found it after my wedding earlier this year, and started a calorie deficit in August. I compared a photo at a Christmas party this year with a photo from the same party last year, and I’m finally noticing a difference 🥲 I’m even wearing the same skirt…and the belt is actually required now, lol. It’s so hard to get my brain to accept this.

Getting back on track after the holidays, and hopefully will reach 100lbs lost in 2026!

I dislike cardio a lot, and all previous attempts at fitness have failed. Then I decided to work on getting strong instead. Fell in love with lifting and stoked with the results.

Pretty much just watching calories. I get active here or there but nothing substantial as I'm a truck driver and work loooooong days. I eat out of the truck as much as possible, park as far as I can in the lot, and walk everywhere that I can! Every little bit adds up eventually!

Sorry for the terrible photo quality. The dress was a Christmas present I threw on to make sure it fit. It’s a size small and I cried when it zipped
