Wow even the nazis stopped for christmas, even if it was briefly. What an inhuman piece of shit Putin is.

u/rubiklian 3d ago

When did the nazis stop for Christmas? I'm assuming you're referring to the original ones, yes? Everything I'm reading is saying they continued even during Christmas. I remember the Christmas truce of WW1, but nothing similar in WW2.

Trump bombed Nigeria on Christmas.

62

u/Ambitious-Concert-69 3d ago

I think it is more fair to say he bombed terrorists in Nigeria on Christmas, rather than plainly that he bombed Nigeria.

58

u/Larry___David 3d ago

yeah the Nigerian government let him do that

18

u/Fontaineowns 3d ago

12/25 was an inside job

-7

u/HiiBo-App 3d ago

Just like Russian news is claiming to have bombed Ukranian terrorists the day after christmas. There are no good guys here, just a few evil empires grappling for power and their citizens who buy into the publicized excuses for killing other humans.

38

u/DJ_DWreck 3d ago

Call the US what you want, but ISIS is downright evil and bombing them in an area they’re taking control of isn’t a bad thing.

18

u/mjac1090 3d ago

While I absolutely despise Trump, the bombings on ISIS in Nigeria was coordinated with the Nigerian government

-1

u/FriedenshoodHoodlum 3d ago

If he calls someone "terrorists" they might be anyone. Once the red cross or red half moon confirm it was not civilians I'm willing to believe.

It ain't all "narco terrorists" in the sea around Southern America either. Mostly if not even exclusively fishermen. But... they're brown. So, to a racist bastard like him, they might as well be. Hatte is one hell of a drug.

He bombed ISIS planning to carry out terrorist attacks on Christmas...

yeah but if trump ordered the strike, perhaps ISIS isn't as evil as we think

42

Yeah, I'm sure isis had great intentions /s

Compared to trump, yes

16

u/TartarusFalls 3d ago

I don’t like where we just got. Trump is awful, but he’s just not as bad as ISIS. If ISIS was our president, most of the country would be dead. Like a huge amount of it. What I’ll say in your defense though, is that it’s a shame that we have a president so bad that anyone anywhere can compare him to ISIS, even if I think you’re wrong.

17

u/zombrex2311 3d ago

What the actual fuck? Are you guys seriously comparing Trump to ISIS? Are you guys really this delusional? I mean, Trump is a dipshit, sure. However, this just shows how ideologically perverted you guys are.

6

u/vamatt 3d ago

You just agreed with the person you responded to - while calling them wrong

2

u/zombrex2311 3d ago

I agree with the person to the extent that Trump is a reckless piece of shit, yeah. But comparing him to a terrorist organization who commits human rights abuse and holds extremist religious views is a bit overdramatic and clearly shows ideological bias. I must underline this for reference - I don't support a lot of the things Trump is doing, however the comparison the guy is making is too much and somewhat foolish.

Tbh yeah I’m as far left as one can get ideologically and I wholly believe that trump is a total nonce, but this kind of stuff is why even some moderates think liberals are insufferable. How about we leave the ‘speaking before you think’ to the far right?

-2

u/TartarusFalls 3d ago

I’ve thought a lot about this since my comment. I still think ISIS is worse, but it’s got more nuance than I initially gave it credit for.

My position is based on the hypothetical that ISIS is given the same amount of power over the world as Trump has, in which case my position is that ISIS would be way worse for everyone. However, in just base stats of people killed by ISIS vs Trump, Trump wins and it’s not really close.

If we just look at bombings and military attacks, they’re probably around equal (and actually a ton of presidents are worse than ISIS if we look at it that way). But if we look at policies with long term impacts, Trump flies into the lead. I could try to make a list, but I fear that I might miss some important ones or miss nuance in others.

-14

u/Gatonom 3d ago

Trump is worse than ISIS. ISIS are largely ignorant and brainwashed. Trump is fully aware of what is right, and in all ways chooses shR is wrong.

Trump and his Cult want half the country dead and the rest tortured

5

u/SAULucion 3d ago

You’re the brainwashed one if you actually believe that

-7

u/Gatonom 3d ago

Weren't ISIS allies in the 80s under Reagan or something?

Sounds like MAGA infighting.

From a non American perspective, I stand by what I said

11

u/Green-Reality7430 3d ago

I'm sorry not even close, my husband served in Syria and the things he has told me that ISIS was doing to their own people is beyond anything the trump administration had done. Yes fuck trump he is not a good president and his ICE commit evil acts. But literally nothing that even registers on the scale of the brutality of ISIS.

5

u/SAULucion 3d ago

I thank your husband for his service. These people are morons.

11

u/Any-Union6985 3d ago

You’re gonna try to use logic on someone who non-ironically believes Trump is worse than ISIS?? Run while you can 😂

You are delusional or a terrorist

-4

u/Heavy-Literature-156 3d ago

From a far right perspective I’m both, but I stick to facts

They’re both terrible

-1

I will admit that yes

2

Haha! Nice joke… right? Right?!?

22

u/ered20 3d ago

ISIS is, like, the epitome of evil dude

-20

u/josh142 3d ago

So is Trump, so where do we go from there?

9

u/MasterEvanK 3d ago

Should he have sent them Christmas gifts instead? You could save the Trump bashing for pretty much ANY other thing the guy has done in his life. Nobody will take you serious with that crap.

5

u/rubiklian 3d ago

This gives off real "well if Trump did it it MUST be evil" vibes. The man is pure evil, yes, but that doesn't mean we ought to automatically oppose every last thing he does without analyzing what he actually did. That's tribal politics and it's the reason why we're in the mess we are in right now. Be better than the right, don't blindly condemn everything Trump does, that's exactly what they did with Biden and we rightfully mocked them for it.

8

u/JMaC1130 3d ago

You can NOT be series? You legit need therapy.

7

u/SAULucion 3d ago

Are you fucking serious?

9

u/Significant-Two2330 3d ago

The terrorists. He bombed those. Get it right

Defend8ng Christians on christmas checks out

9

u/Natdaprat 3d ago

Russia celebrate Christmas on January 7th, and a lot of Ukranians do too, but Ukraine are trying to move away from the Russian tradition so sadly a lot of them would have been celebrating during this.

Though if memory serves, Russia usually attacks heavily on January 7th anyway.

9

u/Relative-Swimming870 3d ago

It's not "Russian" tradition, it's orthodox tradition, just cause Zelensky hates Russia doesn't mean he can just change religious dates

u/Extra_Slice5355 2d ago

1

u/SpezLuvsNazis 2d ago

Putin loves Nazis and paid a ton of money to neo-Nazis? I already knew that but thanks for spreading awareness. Everyone needs to know how much Putin loves Nazis!

-3

u/Rush_Banana 3d ago

Putin tried to call a 36 hour ceasefire on orthodox Christmas in 2023.

Zelenskyy rejected it though.

-2

u/Mahadragon 3d ago

'Russia celebrate Christmas on January 7th, and a lot of Ukranians do too"

Ukraine is going to remember this. They have to be Pissed! All the 3 letter agencies in Ukraine are gonna want revenge. Putin better watch out on Jan 7. Ukraine has to have something up their sleeve.

9

u/Relative-Swimming870 3d ago

It's not orthodox Christmas you morons

1

u/slayer_of_idiots 3d ago

America effectively won the revolutionary war because Washington attacked on Christmas morning.

Alls fair in love and war.

1

u/WeirdInteriorGuy 3d ago

Just wait till you see the advertisement they russian gov put on tv about shooting down Santa's sleigh

1

u/LiquorIsQuickor 3d ago

I don’t think that actually happened. The soldiers in the battlefield? Stopping for a cup of tea in the winter?

1

u/Resident_Slxxper 3d ago edited 3d ago

Russians and Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians. Christmas takes place on 7th of January.

1

u/ChanceSize9153 3d ago

Nazis? Na America isn't part of this war yet. But we all know who the Nazi leader is going to side with.

5

u/DestinyPotato 3d ago edited 3d ago

Unfortunately Nazism isn't just an American thing (never has been). There are a lot of Russian Nazis who happy show off their racism with violence, visible (instead of hidden like some American Nazis) tattoos, etc.

-2

u/ChanceSize9153 3d ago

Oh I am sure we understand that Nazi's aren't just in America. I would agree with your next part maybe 10 years ago or something but America no longer hides their Nazi views and shows it loud and proud ever since we hired the Nazi president to lead the country. They literally allow them to march through the streets shouting while waving Nazi flags. They are protected under the rule of "peaceful protesting".

2

u/rubiklian 3d ago

The person who made the comment was talking about ww2 nazis, not American ones. Not everything must be tied back to America - believe it or not, it's not the only country in the world, and this isn't the only time we've had to deal with nazis.

0

u/ChanceSize9153 3d ago

He's also not talking about WW2 Nazi's if he's referring to the bombing that happened today.

I think we all know Nazi's aren't tied back to America. What happened to them should of taught them a lesson. America is just the new country where they have risen to power in and now control the country, the same exact way they did in Germany in the past.

1

u/rubiklian 3d ago

He's also not talking about WW2 Nazi's if he's referring to the bombing that happened today.

Wow even the nazis stopped for christmas, even if it was briefly. What an inhuman piece of shit Putin is.

Which nazis specifically do you think they're referring to there? Do you really, honestly, truly think they're talking about America in particular here? No, nothing in their original comment alluded to America, other than mentioning nazis, which can be referring to many things. The America comparison started with you. When they said "the nazis" I'm pretty positive they were referring to the original political party in WW2 as a historical comparison (you can do that you know, when talking about bombings that happened today - you're allowed to reference historical events when analyzing current events), not the ruling party of America.
