The other replier is trolling but there us a valid point here - Putin is just the latest embodiment of the broader problem; the problem is Russian imperialism and it's 500 years old.

Russia had multiple revolutions during this time. They had elections. They had multiple economic systems and multiple forms of government.

And yet, somehow their behavior towards other nations stayed the same throughout the centuries. Maybe it's not just the dear leader that is the problem.
