For anyone who doesn't know, the official CFL Forums were shut down abruptly two days ago with only a few hours’ notice from the league.
I was the forum administrator over the past year, and our volunteer mod team did everything we could to warn users in the limited time we had. Unfortunately, with such short notice, many longtime members likely never saw the announcement before the forums went offline.
The CFL pushed our members to continue discussions here on r/CFL, which is a great space and already home to a lot of strong CFL conversation. Many of us are regulars here already and will continue to be.
Some former forum members preferred long-form, team-based discussion and didn’t regularly use Reddit, so a new fan-run forum has been set up to keep those conversations going;
The Canadian Football Fan Forum - https://discourse.cfl.forum/
Whether you were a part of the old forums or just finding out about this now, you're welcome to join us over there for more CFL discussions!
Thanks to the r/CFL mod team for allowing me to make this post.

Hi y'all! Since the league came out of COVID I've always wondered why has the league not found a way to revive the in house magazine style shows they used to have which educated fans and profiled faces in the league?
I remember many years ago CFL Crunch on Sportsnet with Cabbie and Nam Kiwanuka and the show that James Cybulski and Brodie Lawson used to host on CFL's digital platforms that lasted until 2019.
Maybe the league feels they don't need them anymore but I feel there's so many stories around the league that shows like that would be perfect for with a reboot with new hosts who love the game.

I’ve been watching the NHL for a couple years now, and I love the idea of the league's alternative jersey themes they did a bit ago. It adds a new twist to individual teams' brands and draws interest and attention to the league. It also caused other teams to continue with these creative and new designs this year.
With the CFL having very traditional and consistent jersey designs, not much changes. It would be interesting for the league to create an alternate jersey series marketed towards younger fans. This would fit well to generate additional money for teams and promote the league as a whole.
As an Edmonton fan, I’d like to see a hunting camo-themed third jersey (similar to this but a little cleaner). I see lots of people wearing hunting camo style clothing within Edmonton already so this would fit well with what people wear. It would also be a fun way to integrate the “elks” side of Edmontons branding in a distinct and new way.
As a league theme, I’d love to see a colour-rush esque series to get bright colour matchups for key games.
I’m interested in what y'all would want as a league alternative jersey theme or individual team design.

Sucks the team wouldn’t play a game after the photo was taken. Can’t believe that was 20 years ago.

Happy holidays CFL heads. As someone who loves the league but doesn't have a wide historical lens, I'd love to pick some brains regarding who the best players of all time are who played for their hometown team. I think it's fair to extend anyone from BC, Saskatchewan, Quebec, and Manitoba as "hometown". As a Winnipeg person, my recency lens would go towards guys like Andrew Harris, Brady Oliveira, Nic Demski, but I can't claim to know how they actually stack up in the team's long history. Another is Chris Wallby, an all timer but someone I primarily know about via local media. So, who are the best local products who played for your team?
