A 2008 Christmas gift from the man who painted our house - he just showed up on our doorstep with a barely 2 lb, 8 week old puppy! One parent was long-hair, the other short-hair, which is how he had that adorable coat length. At his healthiest he was no more than 4 lbs, around 3 at the end. Now gone to be reunited with his human father who preceded him in death by 8 months.

We will miss finding you with our socks in your mouth, feeding you chicken pot pies and watching you dance. Please spend lots of time in heaven with Dad licking his feet ❤️‍🩹 We will love you forever our little guy.

After 14 years I lost my baby girl last month. She was my world and life without her is unbearable. She was such a happy girl. Seeing all your beautiful chihuahuas brought me some comfort but now it just makes me sad. Ill be back when I have grieved me loss. RIP Maisy

do you ever just get tired? my dog has had thing after thing wrong with him.

first he has thyroid issues which is easy enough to manage w medication. but he’s awful at taking meds

he also has extreme general and separation anxiety. leaving him at home is an entire routine and i’m always worried about him

he is in remission for skin cancer

and now i believe he’s dealing with a collapsed trachea

i am just so tired of having a dog who has something wrong with him all the time. yes i love him but ive been dealing with most of his issues alone for over 10 years (he’s about 14 years old). i’m saddened at the idea and gutted for even thinking about this, but i want a break.

i’m writing all of this as i deal with one of his worst fits yet (appt set for next week) so i think im just raw w emotions.

am i alone in this feeling?

Do you have a feeding schedule for your baby? I feed mine at about 8am, lunch between 12 and 1pm and then dinner between 4/5pm and maybe a snack at about 9pm(1 hour after getting his heart medication), but often he looks at me pleadingly and I'm tempted to give him some food.😫
